As tough as it is to say it, this also should be on the table: Bonnies get him to graduate this year - cut their losses by opening up another ship to a high prospect that wants to attend after the great season the Bonnies will have? Especially if he is out for the year.
Just say'n...

I have a feeling Stockard will never play a game for Bonaventure. No information to back this up, just my gut. Its too bad, I have heard so many good things about him.

Didn't want to start a new thread but we caught up briefly with former bonnie Matthew Wright last week for a Q and A over email. He's thriving overseas. What a transformation he made from his first three years to his senior season and now as a pro. Glad to see his hard work has paid off. We caught up with Former @bonniesmbb Pro Matthew Wright for a Q and A---> bit.ly/2eEbisG www.thebonablog.com

Since it's here, however, I'd like to compliment you on the good reporting you've been doing. This article is a good example of info you've been digging up that isn't readily available elsewhere. So many of our Bona stars go overseas for their pro careers and usually fall off the radar. Glad to read about Matt and anyone else you can track down.

Read the Wright interview - happy to hear he is doing well. Had to laugh though - even with all the improvements, the Hickey still is taking hits.

Wright's a pretty sarcastic guy, so I'm left wondering was he just busting coach's balls or was he saying more? Maybe a bit of both. Schmidt has many times pulled guys after missing a single shot, even if it was a wide open, should-have-taken-it shot. I will say, I saw this far more the first few years he coached here. I think he has relaxed a bit on this recently. He seems to be realizing that players can't be afraid of taking shots if they're ever going to play with confidence.
