Bonafan you're right he was never arrested because the incident occurred on campus so no police were involved.

everyone chill the hell out, the kid is hurt, he cant practice so he isnt learning the plays. End fo story Good call. Players definitely can't learn plays unless they're practicing. How, then, do you explain Tyler Relph directing traffic, telling Haley where to go on offense from day one? Right. By the way, what is your answer for Taylor getting garbage time minutes in the first handful of games with this debilitating injury? Sorry to be the one to break the bad news, but Schmidt said a while ago the kid's a bonehead who can't memorize a play. Wish him well in his future endeavors and move on.

Apparently Delonte Taylor was kicked off the team, his name wasn't even listed on the roster in the game program. What is his status, will he stay in school or go someplace else. Then I guess we'll have another scholarship available, that will make 3 for the spring signing. We should be able to get a decent PGnd another good outside gunner & maybe another big man, you can never have to many decent big guys.

There was a small article in the OTH today stating that Taylor was indeed arrested for stealing a laptop from someone's dorm room. He is schedules to appear in Allegany Village court tonight at 6. The investigation is ongoing. He was suspended from the team.

The T-h does not do any crime reporting for the village of allegany, and the village does not submit any to the paper. The article is a "sports" matter and is on the sports page...by vinnie the basketball reporter.

The article probably won't appear online, so here it is for all to read:
BONNIES TAYLOR ARRESTED FOR THEFT -- By Vinny Pezzimenti
St. Bonaventure basketball player Delonte Taylor has been arrested for possessing a stolen laptop computer.
The 21-year-old freshman was detained Friday by Olean-based state police after an investigation into a burglary on campus late last month.
The laptop, according to police, was stolen from a dorm room on campus some time between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26.
Taylor is scheduled to appear in Allegany Village Court tonight at 6:00 PM. The investigation is ongoing.
Taylor was suspended from the team by the school's athletic department before Saturday's home game against the University of Albany. The school will take action accordingly once a court verdict is reached, sports information director Pat Pierson said late last week.
Taylor's troubles first came to light when he didn't make the trip to Ohio University with the team for Wednesday's game against the Bobcats.
The loss of Taylor shouldn't mean much to the Bonnies. The swingman suffered through back spasms early in the season and has played in just four games, scoring two points in nine minutes of playing time.
A native of Washington, D.C., Taylor was a prep school star at Philadelphia's Lutheran Christian Academy. His father, also Delonte Taylor, played in the NBA for the San Antonio Spurs and Washington Bullets in the 80's.

From gobonnies.com
ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Freshman guard Delonte Taylor has decided to leave the St. Bonaventure men's basketball team, head coach Mark Schmidt announced on Monday.
Taylor saw time in four games this season, playing just nine minutes over that span.
"We regret that it's come to this, but we wish Delonte the best and we'll do everything possible to help assist him in the next stage of his life," said Schmidt.
St. Bonaventure will be back in action on Saturday at Hampton University at 7 p.m.

I am not surprised to see him leaving. He did not get along as well with the other frosh players on the team.
