"Go screw" isn't passion. It's rudeness and immaturity. Yeah. But who cares? This is the internet, ma'am, and rudeness and immaturity is all around us. Want to find something to complain about? I recommend starting with the busty videogame character that appears in the top banner ad on this very site. Holy Boobs! I swear every time I hit refresh that thing is going to get me fired from my job.

Don't schedule a few more home games away from Olean like Bona 84 suggests. This is precisely why the RC was built. We can't get the students to support the team home. Do you think they will drive a hundred miles to Rochester?

bona84. . .go screw. enough of this "were a small school. we need to attract bcs schools by getting on our knees and fondling some johnsons" shut up. we can play with anyone. if you're such a good team then come to the rc. I understand revenue and travel expense plays a part but those "bcs" schools should relish the fact of playing in such a hostile environment. That's why syracuse is such a joke. They schedule a lay up out of conference where they barley leave their own backyard. this board infuriates me. Bum06 - nice response. I have to tell you that I, too, would love to have the "bcs" schools visit the RC. But, until they do, what would you rather have the Bonnies do? Play them, or not play them?

Sat in with some fellow alumni while in Rochester. Many felt ticket price might discourage team's ties of fans and think average fan is not going to support that price. Just the facts from the discussion. I sense a small crowd. Time will tell.

Just the facts from the discussion. I sense a small crowd. Time will tell. Oh yea? Anyone who wont shell out $10 to support the team is no fan of the Bonnies at all. The range in ticket prices, $35 for courtside all the way down to $10 for upper level seats caters to all levels of Bonnies fans. And should cater to college hoops fans in general who want to watch D1 ball in Rochester. The "average joe" excuse is just down right weak.

I have no problem with us going to Rochester or Buffalo for a game in order to get some big name schools to play us. My biggest issue is that were playing St. Johns! They haven't been good in forever. St. John's should not have the muscle to make us play them somewhere other than the RC. Its not like were playing a Final Four team or something. I hope we get a double digit victory out of it at the least.

presstownin, you friends from Rochester must not be that smart because if they think the prices are too high, they must never make the trip from the Roc to Olean. To make the trip from the Roc to Olean would cost them at least $30 is gas alone and then the cost of the ticket. By doing simple math the $35 for courtside seems like a good deal to me.

This is a good deal. Same arena. Great AHL Hockey Great Game Prices.
St. John's does not deserve a $35 ticket price. Syracuse Bona Game I can see it. Olean fans will look twice before they make the trip.
Seating Area Advance Sale Window Price *Day of Game Price **100 Premium $19.00 $20.00 **200 Premium $18.00 $19.00 **100 End $16.00 $17.00 **200 End $13.00 $14.00 **200 Upper End $10.00 $11.00 **200 Balcony $10.00 $11.00

I hate to break it to you but there are a lot of other Bona fans outside of Olean. There is a big Alumi base in Rochester that give a good amount of money to the school. Rewarding them with a game in Rochester is a way to make sure they continue giving. Also, the Olean fan shouldn't say anything about making a trip to Rochester. I was at the Miss game last year and they did not even fill the reds. If you want to think the $35 is a lot just don't go. You seem like a guy that just like to find faults with everything. This is good for the school and good for the program.

I swear every time I hit refresh that thing is going to get me fired from my job. Honestly, that's one conversation with human resources I don't need to have. I see my job flash before my eyes every time the voluptious Mariah Carey lookalike pops up, which makes for some nice on-the-job eye candy, but I can't imagine the run-in that would ensue if the boss walked in with that image loading on the desktop. Can somebody please do something about that? As for the ticket prices, FWIW, $35 was the price of front row tix for last year's Canisius game at HSBC, the differences being that it was a Saturday night in a nicer arena against a worse opponent.

With the above logic than we need to start planning "home" games in Buffalo, NYC, Rochester, Binghamton, Syracuse and Cleveland. Hey, the RC is Bonas' home court. Why take away our home court advantage? Yes, I know, it is only one game.
Attendance at home games was on the decline but now it is inching up as the program continues to improve under Schmidt. I have no doubt attendance figures will continue to improve. Not to make excuses but last year was an unusually cold winter. Many fans stayed home.

Tuesday night game............ Golden Boy Maybe 3200 fans. Lost home game. I don't as you say it , ("find faults with everything") I just call it like I see it. Most peoplefrom the Olean area aren't going to get out of work and rush up to Rochester.

I am continually amazed at the number of excuses people can come up with for low attendence. Now we're blaming the apathy on the cold weather. Don't the newer model cars now come with heaters?
The one game I attended was March 7, with the temperatures in the high 50s. Fewer than 5000 people were at the game, but maybe some stayed away because it was so nice out.

press I agree with you on that point of the Tuesday night game. I think it was very poor planning but then again like most college sports you have to fill the schedule when you can. I think that more people would go to the game if it was on a weekend. Not to mention I think it is not a smart idea to schedule game like this when students are still on campus. I would like to think our students are an asset when we play at the RC so why in HECK schedule a game in Rochester during the week and when they are on campus. I just had a problem with the comments about the ticket prices because they are fair.

Getting back to the idea of bringing in big names to the RC, Pitt just released its OOC - I think it is representative of what the bigs are doing. They play in 2 tourneys designed to get them in a final with another big-name school, almost certainly on TV. For the rest of their OOC, they plan ONE game on the "road" - against Duquesne who they've played every year for decades and for which they have to "travel" less than 3 miles. The toughest home OOC game is Kent State, maybe Ohio, and I'm certain there will be no return trips to either in the future. Their home game v. Binghamton is TV'd nationally on the duece. The bigs just don't travel - not just to Olean, but anywhere!
