Cope - Agee isn't currently counted in the 13 since he's paying his way this year. So he's not an option to "open up a 'ship" for Chandler....

Is House definitely a scholarship guy or is that just speculation?

Bonnies going to a tournament is a "baby step." Richmond (16-14) finished the regular season with one more win than the Bonnies (15-14) and they made it to the semifinals of the CBI Tournament. Honestly the Bonnies might do it this year with the additions of Ogo and Brett along with the year of maturity for rest of the team.

Let's aim for the NIT this year and the NCAA in 2011.

When I asked if Jake received a scholarship I got ripped. My question, and the question of others, has never been fully answered. So, does Jake have a baskeball scholarship at SBU?

Is it possible that the basketball gods put us through the Sol era so that we would really appreciate this new era..?, because in all reality, our excitement is as if we are headed to the final 4, and we deserve to be this excited.... in alot of programs around the country these improvements are normal to them....but mean so much more to us...doesnt matter, proud to be a Bonnie fan and glad i bought season tix last year, might not be much to choose from here soon....

Chuck. I really don't think our goal should be a CBI tournament this year. The NIT is a legitimate goal. Getting into a tournament that you have to "pay to play" is sort of like using an escort service for your Friday night out when you were a single guy. Richmond paid to play last year. St. John's also did the same and were ripped pretty good in the newspapers. I know many of the alumns and fans preferred they just ended the season out of tournament play rather than go to one of those bogus post season events.

I agree the NIT should be the goal and it is a legitimate goal. Even the CBI Tournament would be great. Like your analogy of paying to have a Friday night out, you still have a great time. For a single guy this could very well be a milestone, like the Bonnies who are rapidly moving away from the Solomon years. NIT is preferred but I'll settle for the CBI.

Bonaventure will be able to comment when he enrolls as a student I believe.

I'm picturing a crazy RC for round one of the A-10 tourny... From there who knows, but I think that is a reasonable and obtainable goal. This was a major piece of the puzzle that was missing. In Schmidt we trust. Go Bonnies!

Can "The Professor" be put on an academic scholarship? That would free the athletic scholarship for Chandler.

Does anyone know how or why he'd be eligible this year? I thought all D-1 to D-1 transfers had to sit out a year, even when the first school releases. Hope I'm wrong, or there's some nuance of a rule that allows this, but I thought that rule was pretty much set in concrete.

I believe because he never started taking classes nor attended an official practice he would be eligible.
