My point isn't whether or not is was intentional (I still honestly think it was), but it's how he was tossed based on a completely inconclusive replay. My gripe is more with the officials than anything Rautins said or Nicholson did.

Everybody needs to move on from this, the hypocrisy here is getting out of control. If someone on another team would have done that to our player, everyone here would be calling for a suspension and calling the guy a thug...etc. Trash talking is part of the game! Whoever thinks that these players arent jawing back and forth all game long has their head in the sand. If you dont like someone trash talking you then stop them. Look at Relph, his antics on the court I am sure pissed off other teams and fans but its part of the game. Nobody here seemed to care when he was doing it. Given the fact Schmidt didnt argue at all and Nicholson did nothing but walk off the court afterward makes me think it was intentional. If he was innocent, he would have been pissed off, probably throw his arms up or something and you know coach would have been pleading right along with him. It happened right in front of Coach so you know he had to have seen it. I hope he learned from it because he is the leader of our team. Turn the page and focus on Niagara. Go Bonas Spoken like a true Syracuse fan.... No, spoken like someone who tells it like it is

How does a play go from no foul being called to a flagrant foul? It would seem to me, to be a reviewable play, an official would have had to have blown a whistle somewhere. There are all kinds of intentional and flagrant fouls in every game that are not even called a foul. No one ever stops the game crying and demanding the refs review it. Much less actually convincing a ref that it's the correct thing to do. I can't imagine the officials even came close to handling this correctly.

Trust me there was no way Nicholson was getting away with anything inside the Dome.

There is no way you can throw a guy out of a game if there is any thought in your mind that it wasn't intentional. It most likely was intentional, but if you don't know with 100% certainty from the replay, you can't take a kid out of the game. Loved the fact that Conger didn't back down when an orange douche came nose to nose with him. THis team has missed an edge like that.

Spoken like a true Syracuse fan.... No, spoken like someone who tells it like it is If telling it like it is means being critical of your #1 college team in favor of your #1a and lifelong favorite college team ('Cuse) I guess I have no argument. But don't act like you're the only one who's objective because you love both teams. You're as jaded as the next guy.

But don't act like you're the only one who's objective because you love both teams. You're as jaded as the next guy. How was I critical of the school? I was critical of the people here who act like Andrew did nothing wrong when the benefit of the doubt shows he probably did. I was critical of the people like bigdobber (who I have agreed with alot in the past but his thread on moving on from syracuse is awful). I was critical of people who complain about trash talk (which goes on everywhere) and then wondering why a player who allegedly throws a cheap shot gets tossed. I agree it was inconclusive but the common sense test says given the fact Coach and Andrew had virtually no reaction to the ejection, he was probably guilty. I consider myself to be very objective here because I dont have the venom for Cuse like people here do. Being someone who referees and deals with coaches I can tell you there is not one coach I have ever come across that wouldnt defend his player if he thought that player was tossed unfairly, especially if it is theirbest player. That was the most telling action or non action of the whole thing. You are right in that Bonas is #1 and Cuse 1A for me. I would have loved nothing more than for Bonas to go in there and win and I am proud of the way they played and held their own against a great team. We are lucky nothing more came of that because it could have been much uglier had Cuse reacted differently. Its no different than when Green got decked by some clown on Robert Morris (Schmidt's player ironically) in 2004 and how upset our fans were calling for the guy to get tossed.
