Transfers within the league requires to sit out for 2 years. From what I heard he is wants to be closer to home.

I saw him last night with Mike Lee and he was close to Mike in height, though shorter.

I hope it's NOT Duke. As fjs stated, if you transfer to another team within the conference, you have to sit out TWO years. That would give him just ONE year of eligibility left (5 years to play 4). That's why transfers within any conference are so extremely rare, the penalty is far too high, and it's a good rule.
He's played 2 seasons, would sit for 2, then have 1 left.
Thanks, but no thanks. I would hope we could do better than a guy like this.

He could have been taller. Considering I was judging his height based upon some of the smaller players and the other students in the hickey.

I saw Paul Williams with a recruit last night, he was about 6'7 or 6'8 probably around 230 lbs. This guys did not look like Mike Lees former teamate. Rumor has it that there will be another recruit in today, who is about 6'10.

Thanks for the info. bonastud, if you could get any names that would be great it would help us find out who is going to help this team in the front court next year. Also, this is another example of where the OTH is not doing their job in covering Bonaventure sports. You can write fill in the blank newspaper and the chances are they are reporting what players are visiting the local university this weekend. This is a basketball town and its signing period you would think the Times Herald would be doing articles on this type of stuff. However, I guess Steve Mest didn't write the article for them so they are incapable of producing an origninal article.

Based on all of the hints to-date, I officially take my wild guess of Frantz Dorsainvil being the JUCO big man.

What a great guess Swede. I forgot about this Canadian. I found an article mentioning the Bonnies recruiting him within the last 2 weeks. It is from Cincinnati Bearcats website. Here is a copy of the article and Frantz profile at Vincennes JUCO: 04/06/06: "6 foot 8 former Elizabeth star Frantz Dorsainvil left NJ a few years back and is currently a sophomore at Vincennes JC. Dorsainvil was ranked as the #15 senior in the state prior to his senior season in the June 2002 NJ Hoops Newsletter. The strong rebounder was ranked as the #3 Juco Sophomore at an out of state junior college in the October 2005 NJ Hoops Newsletter. This season at Vincennes Dorsainvil averaged 10.6 ppg and 7.0 rpg for the junior college power. Dorsainvil is hearing from George Washington, Cincinnati, Oregon, Auburn, Alabama, St. Bonaventure, Rhode Island and FDU. Vincennes Head Coach Everick Sullivan describes Dorsainvil's game: "He carves out space very well. He scores around the basket and runs the floor. He hits the 15' jumper. He's effective in a physical game." - www.RivalsHoops.com Article from Bearcat news bearcatnews.com/recruiting/bio/209Frantz profile at Vincennes JUCO www.vinu.edu/vuadmin/uploads/docs/Dorsainvil,%20frantz_5B0WTE.jpg
