Did anybody catch coach on Katz's Korner? I just missed him. espn.go.com/video/clip?id=14921644 At the end of the show, Katz and another analyst (don't remember his name) picked their conference tournament champions. Katz picked the Brown and White!

Looks like Lunardi updated. A little more breathing room, two teams in the field behind us.

I want the Bonnies to play VCU. I think we're the better team and I don't want the season to end without our having beaten them. I also don't understand why anyone wants to face any but the best teams in our conference. Bonnies have a problem defending inside, but everyone else has a bigger problem trying to stop our 3-point game. Most important, our team is stacked with money players who get up for quality opponents and won't wilt under pressure. This is a tournament team, the best we've had since that long ago NIT championship in my unsophisticated opinion. Turn them loose and let's have some fun.

If we're scared of VCU, who hasn't locked in their bid yet, what are the front lines of the two and three seeds going to be like? As far as I'm concerned I'd love LaSalle and VCU and finish the season with noone who has beaten us without payback

gdub2009, Are you sure St. Joes has a better resume? "Blind Resumes #1 (These two teams are from the same conference) Team A: 24-7 (13-5), RPI 32, SOS 88, Top 50 (2-4), Top 100 (5-6) Team B: 22-7 (14-4), RPI 28, SOS 89, Top 50 (3-2), Top 100 (6-5), Beat Team A twice" Source: nhbrackets.wordpress.com/2016/03/06/bracket-projection-march-6/ If you want to go by RPI, yes the Bonnies have a better resume. The committee doesn't just take into account RPI though. KPI and Kenpom are also largely used. And in those two metrics Bonaventure is behind St.Joe's. Right now in the KPI, the reason we are behind St.Joe's is because we lost to La Salle. We have better wins than St.Joe's, but St. Joe's is more consistent, had better non-conference wins, and has a better road record than us. KPI literally takes each game and gives a score from .01 to 1 for a win and 0 to -1 for a loss. St.Joe's is .12 ahead of us. If we would have beaten La Salle we would be ahead of them. We are talking a seed line here so we could be anywhere from 1 spot to 5 spots behind them. So whatever if you want to rail me saying we are smidge behind St.Joe's then so be it. I am still confused why we are harping so much on St.Joe's we want them in the NCAA Tourney with us. Starting questioning why Florida, Michigan, Gonzaga, LSU, and Ohio St. are still hovering on the bubble with Lunardi. Those are the teams that don't deserve to be in the NCAA Tourney. St.Joe's and St.Bonaventure DO deserve to be in the NCAA Tourney based on their resume.

I am not afraid of the Bonnies playing VCU on saturday. I would like to see a rematch there. VCU is a much better team at home where we matched up last time. Would be nice to get a second crack at those guys with a healthy Posley in a neutral venue. I would like our chances. -- as an aside: I know discussing the present or discussing at large bids is pretty much the entire point of "bracketology" but I just want to point out that I don't see any reason why Bonas can't win the whole thing this weekend! Say we take down Davidson, VCU, and Dayton this weekend and win the whole thing. That's 3 more top 100 victories on the resume. What seed do you guys think were getting then? I'd say it would be a safe bet that they are wearing white jerseys as the higher seed in the round of 64! right?

Winning the whole thing would result in a year end 25-7 record with a 50-something SOS and all the resultant metric improvements. Assuming those wins are over VCU and Dayton/Joe of course. 6/7 seed depending on the P5 tourney finishes. Will root for the best possible outcome, and if we lose in the semis and clock in at a 10 I'll be very happy to avoid the 8/9 game.

While I don't like Lunardi has us in a play-in game against UCONN, I like the bracket he has the BONNIES in. When we beat the Huskies the BONNIES would play Wisconsin(winnable) then the winner of the WVU-UAB game. WVU is hot or cold so another winnable game unless the Blazers beat them.

A loss to Davidson may or may not get us booted. A loss to Duquesne probably would. However, even though its the riskier matchup, if we lost to Duquesne on neutral court in that situation, I for one will not be complaining on Selection Sunday, if we are left out. I want a fair chance, that's all. If our bid depends on beating Duquesne, fine with me. The Dukes have given us trouble, but they seem to run out of gas at the end of games. They would be playing their third game in three days. I think I'd take my chances with a tired Duquesne team. i don't know if i would, jc...duq historically always seems to play us tough...it's like when they see the brown and white unis with "bonnies" written on the jersey they kick it up another notch...

Not so sure senator, St. Joe's loss to Duquesne did not effect their RPI at all. (still baffled on that one)

Each individual game is worth so little in RPI that when you get to the end of the season, there's not a lot of movement. Also, there were lots of bubble losses when St. Joe's lost to Duquesne. The number went down a bit, but so did a lot of others ahead of them.

I am taking care of my 3 year old granddaughter today, and she talks about making a bubble, I can't get this stuff out of my mind.
