Like Coach said, one game at a time! I stopped even looking at any projections last night, and won't look again, until after our tournament play.. We have two outstanding Seniors leading the way, with (in many peoples minds) one of the best PG's, I've seen in a long time, running point. Throw in a little Denzel shot blocking, and lets just take down our Friday opponent, and go from there!!

I'll add that looking at projections was just making me miserable, because i kept going back to the Lunardi (ESPN) one.. I haven't seen the Bonnie's live in action, in a month, so i can't wait til Brooklyn!..

Still in the last 4 in according to ESPN. Let's take care of business and leave no doubt.

Here's the summary sheet the committee uses to make comparisons. I don't think St. Mary's or any of the other bubble teams that got knocked out in their conference tourneys measures up to the Bonnies, so it's a question whether they or other bubble teams like SU, Tulsa, or Connecticut get into the first four. Check it out: once you get below the top 25 you don't find many with winning records against the top 50 and many have trouble winning on the road. Non-conference record is a drawback for the Bonnies, but they played like a top 25 team in the A10, which was the 18 most recent games. Team knows they need to do well in Brooklyn anyway, and I believe they will. warrennolan.com/basketball/2016/nittypro3

If Palm is best case scenario, and Lunardi worst case...the most important games are going to be Cincy/Uconn, Memphis/Tulsa, Arizona St/Oregon st. I hope we can get some help from Cincy and Memphis as those two teams have a realistic chance to win. An Arizona St upset over Oregon St. would be huge. I guess I'll worry about Michigan and Florida later.

If there was ever a doubt, Lunardi just removed it a few minutes ago on ESPN's Mike and Mike. With the screen showing us as last 4 in, he referred to St Joe's as , and I quote, "my Squad..." In predicting they would be a 10 seed playing Notre Dame. I called this shill job weeks ago and he has done a great job making sure St Joes would always be safely in no matter what, even though we finished ahead of them in standings over a 18 game schedule, beat them twice and have a significantly better RPI. There is no doubt in my mind we need to win Friday. The nit wit bracket guys are dying to toss us.

I know it's been said here before, but I think it bears repeating, you guys do know that Lunardi doesn't actually select the teams for the tournament, correct? Hell, he could project Joe's a #1 seed and I wouldn't care a fig.
Anyone seriously think that any NFL GM's decisions are affected by Mel Kiper's board?

But res, he besmirched the Bonnies, we must insult him mercilessly. See Carter, Eli.

Anyone seriously think that any NFL GM's decisions are affected by Mel Kiper's board? that is very true Res and Lunardi might not know his butt from a hole in the ground as well in terms of how the brackets will play out. But, I don't believe your Kiper/NFL GM comparison is too valid because we aren't talking about guys who will lose their jobs if they get it wrong in the selection committee, we are talking about guys who are making very objective decisions and might be more apt to be swayed by perception. If the perception is there that we are a fringe bubble team and St. Joe's or others are a lock, from the "worldwide leader" it certainly does not help our chances. How much does it hurt? who knows...maybe very little.. but it doesnt help..

If you don't think there's a human element and enormous politicking going on, you're not paying attention. They had the head of the committee Joe Castiglione on the air while Lunardi is asking questions and talking about St Joes. You don't think the committee members aren't watching ESPN while they're stuck in their hotel rooms. As for Kiper I actually think NFL GM's do pay attention to him. He's forgotten more about the draft than most of these GM's know.
