Rueadale Williams making his decision tomorrow at noon. Rudi Williams, #1 JUCO PG, 2 years of eligibility, from Canada.....plenty of offers, PG out of Canada....ok, I admit it, I hadn't heard of the kid....last school to offer...Iona. verbalcommits.com/players/rueadale-williamsImpressive bio, but another junior? And one that doesn’t address needs in the front court?

Rueadale Williams making his decision tomorrow at noon. Public Service Announcement: according to Elias Sbiet of NorthPoleHoops, WILLIAMS won't be making his announcement until 6 PM today. Personally, I am not counting the hours. Sbiet also says TOLEDO & RICE have become involved with LOUTH COULIBALY's recruitment. I tend to get a little concerned when another school that has a former BONA assistant on their staff starts recruiting a player BONA is invvolved with.

DARWESHI HUNTER 6-5 180 of Central State(OH) claims to have been offered by ST. BONAVENTURE. I believe DARWESHI is qualified with 3 years of eligibility. HUNTER averaged 26 ppg, 9.5 rpg and shot 56.3 o/o from the field. Central State is a DII school...was named DII All-American as Freshman. Had DI offers out of high school, however decided to stay closer to home in OH. May be a sit 1, play 3 if the one-time transfer rule is delayed. Looks to be solid with the ball, scorer, with great size.

Reading about Jeremiah Williams reminds me of Earl Belcher and Elmer Anderson. They were really good high school players, who were over shadowed by their teammate. Earl Belcher had Marty Headd a high school All-American and Elmer Anderson had Pearl Washington, who was the #1 high school player in the nation. Jeremiah has 4 star recruit Ahamad Bynum. The overlooked Jeremiah Williams -- Bona and Temple have made offers to Jeremiah, but rest of offers are from low majors. -- A common theme with Jeremiah "top unsigned senior wing in Illinois." -- Teammate Ahamad Bynum averaged 20.3 ppg, while Jeremiah averaged 16.8 ppg and 8.9 rpg. Bynum had many Power 6 offers and signed with DePaul. -- Made 2nd team on Chicago Sun-Times All-City basketball team (Bynum made 1st team). In attached article states "Simeon senior Jeremiah Williams, one of the best uncommitted seniors in the state, cracked the second team. He teamed with Bynum to help lead the Wolverines to the city championship." -- Simeon wins champioship game against Morgan park by a score of 81-76. Bynum scores 22 and Jeremiah has 21 points. -- I watched highlights of the game and Bynum's great game was featured, but there was little mention of Jeremiah who scored 1 less point than Bynum. -- Above Chicago Sun-Times All-City basketball team has 5 players from championship game. Bynum and Jeremiah from Simeon and 3 players from Morgan Park. All the players except Jeremiah received Power 6 offers. Jeremiah's game -- Jeremiah's game reminds me of Courtney Stockard. Attributes are almost identical to Courtney; thrives on drives to the basket, gets to the line a lot, average 3 point shot, solid rebounder, excels on defense and good athlete. -- Stats from last summer AAU with Mean Streets, which has 3 players who signed with Power 6 schools. Average 24 minutes (3rd on team), average 9.7 ppg, shot 51.6% from field (1st among starters), 4.8 rpg (2nd on team), shot 30.8% from 3s (Courtney shot 31.2% at Bonas). -- Prep Hoops description of his game from championship game against Morgan Park. "The top unsigned senior wing in Illinois showcased what he is all about on the biggest of stages. Jeremiah Williams is a 6’5” small forward that is ultimate utility guy at a mid-major. He rebounds very well for a wing and brings tenacity on the defensive end guarding both on the perimeter as well as in the paint. Offensively he is best slashing for floaters, getting on the offensive glass, and knocked down a pair of mid-range jumpers en route to 21 points." chicago.suntimes.com/2020/2/28/21157788/all-city-basketball-team-chicago-sun-times-2020d1circuit.sportngin.com/stats/team_instance/4565970?subseason=599727&tab=team_instance_player_stats&tool=3629868www.prephoops.com/2020/02/5-takeaways-simeon-vs-morgan-park/

DARWESHI HUNTER's videos remind me of COURTNEY STOCKARD's game. DARWESHI can hit the 3 or throw a fake, get around the defender and fly in for a dunk.

Not sure why he would come to play back-up PG for his two years. Agreed, have to imagine our chances are slim and none. I inly mentioned since I saw the news on Twitter. Would seem to be a high level guy, but we don’t have lots of playing time to offer.

Just my opinion but recruiting Division II players is not going to get us into the NCAA Tournament.Select Juco's are very helpful based on competition level but I would take a kid like Jeremiah every time.

Probably was his highest offer, just about every mid-major offered him!

Couple of new names...
6'9" PF Alex Nwagha from Ontario and Orangeville Prep. Decommitted from James Madison. @northpolehoops says, "Lots of upside. Defensive presence." Previously had offers from JMU and South Alabama according to Verbal Commits.
6'8" SF Steven Lazar from Toronto. @northpolehoops says, "Loyola Marymount, Gardener-Webb, Albany, St. Bonaventure, Central Michigan have all accepted on academic scholarship. Some size and shooting." Not finding much recruiting info on him, so not sure of skill level.

North Pole Hoops has Alex Nwagha listed at Orangeville Prep and is 6'9- 210. He has broad shoulders and a very decent wing span.He is clearly a PF as he operates within the paint and is very aggressive to every loose ball and seemingly fighting for every rebound on both ends. The kid can and does get out on the break and is a high-wire finisher. His shoulders will remind the older set of Matt Gantt. He would be an interesting compliment to Double O as he is an above average shot blocker and will keep a lot of rebounds alive.I do not see a jump shot but he is strong to the hoop.

Looking at the JMU de commit, Alex Nwagha, 6’9” 210 of, there s a lot to like. We don t have any connection, nor have we offered as of yet. That being said he s with Orangeville prep. We ve had some success up there. Just happen to be watching the 2012 A10 title game, great effort by another Canadian named Nicholson, who fared pretty well at Bonas. Thanks again Dunga for making that available.
I also love Abou Ousname, the 6’9” 230, Brooklyn hs/Putnam s I one year, and an additional prep season, de comiited from Rhode right after they signed two bigs, twin brothers, who had left Maryland after freshmen year. Very talented kid as well, good ,low post player.
And, what about Louth Coulibaly, 6’9”, 225, from Ottawa, top line prep, strong, athletic big.
This is all pie in the sky, but why not dream. How about Nwagha for of and which ever of the other two who is willing to commit first. This would solidly our front court for four more years. That would leave one ship to hold or to get Williams or Ruth or Louis , both point guards, Ruth from hs, Louis a temple transfer.
