I think I would like Dalen also and maybe Linton or Joryam & at least one more big guy like Amadou or a good 7' would be nice. Hope we get what we want.

I had taken a quick look at Twitter this am and saw the Tweet from Coach Fiske congratulating LaDarien on his squad winning their league title and Coach Fiske went on to talk about how LaDarien personifies the concept of perseverance. I then hopped on the Bandwagon and thought I'll copy and paste the Tweet and now I can't find it.
Anyway, I'm hoping somebody will find it and post it.
LIke so many of us I've got Dalen Ridgnal on my mind. The question yesterday if you could pick anybody you wanted for your wish list my top three choices would be Dalen.
I had reached out to Coach Neal, who I think is convinced I'm nuts, that's only partially true and I had said that thinking back on George Carter, he is one of my first memories of Bonaventure. Growing up in Jamestown, I was all of 12 or 13 years old when George came on the scene. I never got to see George play in person, but it was either through a Bona game being televised in the mdi 60's or maybe it was Rick Azar with video footage on WKBW Sports that introduced me to George and it was love at first sight. I told Coach Neal that the guy who reminds me the most of George is Dalen Ridgnal, just about the same size, they both move with such ease, they both have the whole package and I was noting to Coach Neal that wouldn't it be great if we welcomed Dalen Ridgnal kind of like passing ships as we say our final good bye to George on campus in about a month.
Last note, coincidence that yet another hard working Bonnie, also about Dalen's size, was noted in Coach Fiske's Tweet, also wore #15, just as LaDarien did.

Like everyone else Dalen Ridgnal is the obvious number 1 choice for me. I know it seems longer but it has been just a week since verbal commits made us aware of Linton Brown, Joryam Saizonou and Jaeden Zackery. We found out about Dalen less than 2 weeks ago. I'm prepared to get more names from verbal commit of players, who have been offered by the Bonnies. Osun, Youssou, Matt Wright, Kloof and Dion are examples of players who have signed with the Bonnies, more than a month after spring signing day. With the growing transfer portal. list, I can see Schmidt keeping 2 "in his back pocket." Bonnies have 9 scholarship players, so at most Schmidt signs just 3 more before summer (remember 1 for back pocket Schmidt has never used). Brian Moore is an interesting player. Verbal commits has Bona as the only school making an offer to him. Could Brian Moore be this year's version of Jaren Holmes. A JUCO who only receives an offer from the Bona, but excels. 6'3" SG Brian Moore -- As a freshman led Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in scoring by a large amount. Tied for second in rebounds. -- His 424 points this season is 24th in the nation. -- His 18.4 ppg is the same as Linton Brown. Linton is really impressive from 3s, while Moore had an incredible shooting percentage for a guard at 59.1% shooting from the field. Shot 36.5% from 3s. -- Video shows Moore as a good athlete. I would say comparable or slightly better than Litton. Video of fast break with a teammate tossing ball up and Moore dunks it. Has physical drives to the basket, which reminds of Jaren Holmes drives. www.verbalcommits.com/schools/st-bonaventurewww.region2athletics.com/sports/bkm/div1/2020-21/teams/northeasternoklahomaaampmcollege?tmpl=teaminfo-network-monospace-template&sort=ptspgwww.njcaa.org/sports/mbkb/2020-21/div1/players?pos=st&sort=pts

Anybody, lets pretend its your birthday or Christmas. What would you like for a gift or gifts as far as Bona signings. Just curious who you would want.Thanks. I've been thinking about throwing this question out myself. Here's my look at the roster C- Osunniyi - Durosinmi PF - Coulibaly - SF - Welch - Adaway SG - Holmes - PG - Lofton - Adams I know we have Ndjock-Tadjore as well, but I don't see much coming from him this year after he hasn't played competitively for a year. I went back and forth on Adaway/Coulibaly starting at PF. Regardless, I think we're going to see various combinations of Coulibaly/Welch/Adaway/Holmes in the SG, SF, and PF roles. This also moves someone who is going to be here next year into the starting 5, which is ideal. Beyond the current roster, the other major consideration is what are the seniors planning to do. I could see a lot of, "I'll stay if you stay" - so who would be the most likely to go? I know we're looking at Osun's pro-potential with him listed as a second rounder in some mock drafts already. Holmes is the other guy I look at potentially with his academic interests taking priority. While not NBA level, all five guys have pro-level abilities and should be done academically. I think its more likely that we have none of them in 22-23 than all 5. In the immediate, we don't have a scorer coming off the bench. Linton Brown fills that void, so I'd make him the priority. Plus we have a surprising lack of guys with the last name Brown in the historical roster, so this fills two voids. As I read more on Dalen Ridgnal and view some of the highlights, he appears to be good from beyond the arc, and fits the do-it-all mold with Welch and Adaway. If those two land, and Duro and Adams are what we think they will be, we have a potential starting 5 for 22-23 if all the seniors leave. With two ships remaining, and the assumption we'd only fill one, I'd hope to see Joryam Saizonou as a four-year PG option. He also has range and size enough to play off the ball with Adams as the PG. I also see Lofton and Osun as a package deal for departing If there ever was a year that we could see all the scholarships filled, this would be it as I think we'll be close to 5 to fill next year before any transfers out. My last ship would go to a four-year big. Mo Njie is the only we have been linked to thus far. 2021-22 Roster: C- Osunniyi - Durosinmi - Njie PF - Coulibaly - Ridgnal SF - Welch - Adaway - Ndjock-Tadjore SG - Holmes - Brown PG - Lofton - Adams - Saizonou 2022-23 Roster (assuming seniors leave and no transfers): C- Durosinmi - PF - Coulibaly - Njie SF - Ridgnal - Ndjock-Tadjore SG - Brown PG - Adams - Saizonou

I think the beauty of having both Adaway and Coulibaly is that we can switch up based on size very easily... Adaway isn't a true 4 by any means, but he could still be there if we wanted to go small... he could also fill a 3 or even a 2 spot.
And I'm not gonna lie, if we were to land Saizonou, he may jump Adams for the starting PG spot in 2022-2023... he looks legit.

We can go big with Adaway at the 3 and Welch at the 2, or go very small in short bursts with Coulibaly at the 5, with Adaway, Welch, and Holmes.

I wish these young men understood it takes a village to be successful... take out 1 of our players from this years squad and we are not who we are...recruits should want to be surrounded by better recruits ...... A loaded cupboard means .... Practice is better, more competitive, better development, and IF you have cold night shooting, match up issues, etc. everyone should/could contribute... next man up... full schedule will NOT allow for iron 5 to go the distance. #KEEP OUR LEGS FRESH 21’-22’’ Another note I checked Linton’s twitter page and was embarrassed by Amount of Lobo donkeys inviting him to NM.... when was last time they were relevant? 1998? I think coach Knight was still in Indiana And Chapman was at Bona’s .... To the recruits all roads lead to Bonas. Look at Dion and Meech still LOVE to wear the unfurled colors and rep Bona Nation in TBT... Calling all former Bona stars it’s TBT Time. Be sure to donate to their cause..... Go Bonas !!!

This troll would be peeing in a different Dixie cup if he only knew how close we were to landing Ahmad Hill or Olden Polynice or Bobby Sura or that Traore fellow.

Random question, does anyone know what happened to Buffalo's John Ese Orogun? I know he has bounced around to many places and I think was ruled ineligible at a few but does anyone know the latest on him as he must be intriguing to some being all of 6'10!

I've wondered this myself. Can't find anything on what he's been doing this year. It appears he was going to Sunrise Christian Academy, but he's not on the roster.
