A win over this physical team that controls the glass would be huge.

A win over this physical team that controls the glass would be huge. SHOOTING St Louis is dead LAST in the A10 in free throw % - we are 3rd in the A10 St Lois is 5th in 3pt % - we are 4th in 3pt % ( **Big Note - St Louis takes the least amount of 3pt shots in the league) REBOUNDING: St Louis is 1st in A10 - but St Bonnies is 4th in the A10 Conclusion: Its a classic shooters vs rebounders match Bonnies make your free throws and make your 3's - we win this game

I really hope I'm wrong but I question whether our freshman and sophomore filled roster will be able to withstand the physicality of this St. Louis squad. Just think this is a bad matchup. I'm not saying I'd rather play Davidson but IMO coming out with a road W here is asking a lot. I hope I'm eating some crow around 10 tonight.

The teams that we don’t matchup well with are as follows: VCU, ST. Louis, Dayton, and Davidson
The teams that we are good matchup opponents: Everybody else
If we are to get eliminated in A10 tourney, mark it down it will be against one of those 4 teams.

As our season has progressed DOM has played a more & more aggressive style. Going to the rim more, getting to the line and especially rebounding.
For all 30 games he averaged 6.9 rebs. In conference play he has upped that to a remarkable 7.8.
For all games we are #2 reb margin at 3.7 compared to #1 St Louis 6.4.
In conference games (with DOM grabbing more)we are #2 at 5.2 compared to #1 St Louis at 7.5. So the disparity on the glass is not as great as it was.
Hard to imagine us out rebounding St Louis but staying fairly close will be needed, along with an overall A game, to get this road win.

It would be nice to see the Bonnies show some muscle tonight. I keep thinking back to the Rutgers win. If that team could consistently show up, the Bonnies would be elite. They never wilted or backed down. Going to need that kind of energy and effort tonight. SLU resembles a football team more than a basketball team.

When I look at this game what concerns me more than the matchups is the fact that we are ending the season and I can’t pinpoint who the leader of this team is. Most of Schmidt’s team have that one guy who seems to fall into that role. AN, Posely, Mobley, Jay and Stockard are 5 guys who in my mind were the go to guys that everyone looked for...both players and fans. It’s a concern but our record seem to speak that it isn’t a problem with this squad. Or does someone emerge tonight and fill that role as we head into the conference tourney. What I like about tonight’s game is our 3 Sophomore starters were all a big part of last years team that was a 3 pointer away from the Big Dance. I just hope the refs don’t take this game over.

Lofton is the team leader, man. It’s clear. He directs his teammates and always keeps his head up to run the offense and look for open guys

We won't know until game time if JAREN is 100%. He took a hard fall to the hardwood in the final mins of the Joe's win and his hip took the blow. He had a serious limp as he left the court. I expect to see him starting but expect he will have stiffness and pain in that hip.
Kyle also got nicked in the final couple of mins but did not appear to be in as much distress.
Both are needed at 100% to get this win.

Men vs boys I’m afraid. This is the first time I can remember in Mark’s tenure a team has limped to the finish line. I hope we can win one in Brooklyn
