I watched the replay of OSUN's severely turned ankle many times. It turned my stomach each time. Unless he has rubber like ligaments and tendons it looked like an injury requiring at least several weeks of recovery.
Glad grandma and family was there to comfort his emotional pain at the side of the bleachers.
I have attended several games at Hagan Arena and always found the Hawk fans loud and hostile to their opponents. I noticed the first few rows behind the basket by our bench was taunting our bench all game. When OSUN went down, literally at their feet (that base line bleachers is way to close to baseline), they gave him a standing O as he hobbled off the court. Maybe pleased he would not return in a 47-47 tied game. Their applause did appear sincere.

Tough question for Tuesday night before we play - root for Dayton to give Richmond a 7th loss or for Richmond to give Dayton a 5th loss? If we beat VCU, it wouldn’t seem to matter much, but that’ll be really tough if OO isn’t available and I would hate to see the risk taken of exacerbating that ankle. Man, that just looked really bad and I would be shocked to see him suited up as soon as Tuesday. The Bonnies are in an “all or nothing” situation right now… they either win them all going into the A-10 final, or they simply just play for getting the double-bye and winning the conference tourney. So, being a realist without Osun, it would be downright stunning if they went 2-0 this week… thus, I say we root for Dayton on Tuesday and root for VCU next Saturday to 💯 secure the double-bye… and hopefully, Shoon would be ready to go in DC.

UMass fires McCall as of the end of the year. Might be some transfer available.

Richmond giving Dayton everything it can handle with Burton sitting for 17 of 20 minutes with two fouls.

Your wish was granted! Blakney jam off Smith feed before the horn, 55-53 UD final. That leaves only SLU as challenger for double bye and that sweep looks mighty good at this moment.

The A10 tournament is going to play out just like it did in 2019. A talented team full of freshmen will meet a veteran team that was expected to run through the league before the season but counted out before the tourney
2019 title game: St Bonaventure (young & talented) vs St Louis (old & counted out prematurely)
2022 title game Dayton (young & talented) vs St Bonaventure (old & counted out prematurely)
Hmmmm

Smith will then proceed to hit all three free throws, and the young talented team will prevail. Old team to NIT.

That’s a lot of income tax to pay - no thanks for a thankless job.
Change creates opportunity. Perhaps some of their excellent 3 point shooters will want to come and join the Bonnie’s?

St Louis up 6 on URI at half.
URI had a 10 pt lead with 5 mins to go in half. Jimmerson went off late.

St Louis wins by 6. URI was down 2 with 1:19 left.
URI making only 9-23 FTs doomed them!
