Nice shoutout for Jalen from Tim McCormick, doing the DAV-UD game. Tim has Adaway on his personal All-A10 1st unit, along with Lee, Brajkovic, Oduro, and Burton.
Heady company.

Davidson 35, Dayton 34 at the break. This has all the playoff feel one could want. UD Arena packed, well-played ball both clubs.

Bad that Dayton held on to win--correct me if I am wrong. This helps their resume tremendously and, along with love from NET and probably pickers, that helps their at-large vs. us for sure.
As it is, we may well face Davidson in semi-finals and if we win we really have to then win the title game--if we don't the pickers will almost certainly choose Davidson over us, and if not Dayton or even VCU (whoever doesn't win title game). So even more than we already know: HAVE to win title game. No ifs ands or buts.

UD 82, DAV 76. Great game. Both teams shot over 50% or better overall and from 3. Gives you an idea how well these guys played.
Brea hit a killer 3 w 40 sec left. He had 18, Holmes w 20. Loyer was great for Davidson w 25, Lee 17, Mennenga 14.
Now the VCU-SLU game is EVERYTHING. VCU win, Rams 1 seed, UD 2 seed, DAV 3 seed. VCU loss, DAV-VCU-UD 1-2-3.

So even more than we already know: HAVE to win title game. No ifs ands or buts. Look, it's been A10 title or bust for quite a while now. Davidson is the ONLY conference team that is an at-large lock. UD and VCU are on the periphery, Bona not even in that discussion. You forget about the other mid-majors, there aren't enough at-larges to go around bc the P6ers grab the great majority. St. Mary's is a lock, the Mountain West might get two depending on how that tournament shakes out. Bona's only road to a Dance card is to defend its tournament crown in DC. Period.

I don’t see how Dayton gets consideration before us. They have 4 bad losses including UMass Lowell & LaSalle

St Louis laying it on VCU 41-24 at the half.
We won 3 of the 4 games against them.

Sitting around calmly watching A10 games today. We better hope our next round of top players are really good. VCU, SLU and particularly Dayton have some really good young players that we are going to need to deal with for years to come. Jimmerson may be a Billiken for life and Holmes of Dayton may be a three time A10 POY.

The A10 is projected to receive 2.3 bids based on averages of all bracket projections and metrics. That tells me at least 2 teams are a strong possibility with outside chance of 3 depending on how many bid stealers materialize. www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-tournament/bracketology/by-conference/Bonnies still have an outside chance if we get to a10 finals, but winning the tourney most likely is our only chance to dance.

St Louis wins 69-64. Collins is one of the MANY stellar PGs in the A10.

VCU now has as much of a chance as Bona for an at-large -- zilch.
