Oh excuse the spelling. Very exciting athlete listed between 6'7 and 6'8. Who do you believe?

Just heard Bonnies get Yann Farrell. 6'8 stud will start as frosh. Rivals 128 I think. This is A plus signing. It is on Cuse Board Good call BJIF! Just saw this at SBUNFURLED's site. Says FARELL is a Rivals' 4 Star recruit. According to Recruiting site 247, YANN will come in as the BONNIES' highest rated recruit ever! FARELL had offers from: Miami, Texas A&M, WV, VT, Syracuse, Marquette, Seton Hall, St. John's, WF, Vandy, VCU, URI.....

Welcome Yann Farell.
Think about the young talented group; Barry Evans, JNT, Anouar Mellouk and now Yann Farell. AMAZING.
I know the comparisons will start rolling in. What I first through was I was hoping for KC Ndefo, the 6'7" defender extraordinaire, but when you look at Yann's timing and leaping ability, he may not be as strong as Ndefo yet, but Yann brings an explosive offensive game and he can shoot it from 3. I believe we are going to run some pretty good front court rotations out there with this group. I'm so giddy I can't imagine what we might do next. I saw mention of Anquan Hill, the 6'9" rookie of the year in the NEC, in the portal today from Fairleigh Dickinson, maybe this signing will get Justin Foster, who visited last week, a great player in his own right, great shooter. We maybe lost Rogas Jocius, but I will gladly take the trade. Go Bonnies

Watch Yann’s highlight video. Very smooth yet powerful movement. Loved the arc height on his 3 pt shot. Reminds me of Essie Hollis.

You beat me to it. I thought the same thing. Erie connection. fjs64, you never miss a detail, no matter how minute. Good catch on the Erie connection. If he ends being even remotely comparable to Essie then that’s a huge win for us.

Here’s a little nugget that should make some people here happy. Yann was a Syracuse target, making us 2 for 2 (with OO) in recent recruiting battles with the so-called Evil Empire. For me it just very important that we can compete with the presumed top program in NYS. So no need to back off on anyone going forward.

we have offered 2022 Syline Prep, I think Las Vegas, 6'8" Mason Mich'L. One took me three edits to get the name right:) While there was A LOT of video on Mason, I couldn't find out much other than it looks like he was a top Nevada hs prospect in 2021, but I would guess he didn't have an offer he liked and decided to prep, hence skyline prep. There was an article, subscription protected on the best unsigned bigs in Nevada, but I didn't pay the fare. From his highlights, I know, I know highlights it looks like he can play inside and out. Part of the piece I was able to read a paragraph from, Nevada usually does not have that many bigs to begin with, but because the portal they were seeing more high schoolers being left out.

Would love to see this kid match up against Richmond stud. He looks, scores the ball as a stretch 4. Very imposing and physical type kid. Would be a great get this late. Land him and we are ready to go to war. About a dozen schools involved

bjif, thanks for giving Mason Michi'L the eye test. I was trying to gauge how big he was weight wise, I couldn't fine the information and even if I did it might be dated. I am wondering if there is a situation not unlike what was noted of a state of Nevada recruiting board where a number of hs seniors and even kids that have prepped for a year are being left out of the recruitment process because there is so much experienced talent in the portal. In that sense, it might actually be worthwhile to invest in some of this talent. I don't like the idea of "over recruiting", but in next year's migration you might lose some guys, but you might have more quality up and down the roster. My initial take on Mason Michi'L was not another 6'8" guy, but your sense is that he's more of a PF, then our other guys are with the exception of Anouar. That all said, you're right that was a pretty long list of suitors.
