I saw a post on Twitter that indicated EBRAHIM KABA is it rolling at Saint Bonaventure for the spring semester, 2024. Looking for confirmation, if true, wondering if Ebrahim would be practicing with the team? That's from Joe Tipton of on3 sports. They have called him a 3-star recruit since he committed last year. |

"Ebrahim Kaba is enrolling at St. Bonaventure for the spring semester, per source."

What is the difference between being on campus this spring instead of fall?  Is he able to practice with the team etc? ? |

Duane Thompson left a year early from Putnam, because he wanted to start early on his collegiate career. His coach at Putnam stated Duane felt he could get better prepared at Bona than another year at Putnam and he supported Duane's decision. It appears Ebrahim made the same decision. Like Duane, Ebrahim is most likely taking a red shirt for this spring. This will allow him to practice with the team. |

Bennett White is class of 2026. I would imagine a re-classification is in the offering. The kids body is A10 ready.

Kaba enrolling early, plus (hopefully) two redshirts already in house, gets me excited for next year, and filling in for the graduating players. Now if we can get a point guard to enroll early . . .

have we ever had a ballplayer enroll early like this (ie springtime). It happens in college football (I think for spring practice), but I dont remember it happening in BB before

It happens in college football (I think for spring practice), but I dont remember it happening in BB before Similar....Marquise Simmons was to enroll for his freshman year, but it was delayed until the spring semester, where he was redshirted. His delay was due to a health issue. |

If Marquise could have been here during Covid, he could have had 7 years of eligibility, and could have graduated with a doctorate.
I was always impressed that he spent his whole career at Bonas.

Guards, Guards and more guards should be the top priority in recruiting. We were very spoiled with Jaylen and Lofton for eight year. Not to mention Posely and Mobley at the 2G.

Looks like Kaba may have 2 6'6 shooting classmates. One is a international player who can flat out score and another highly rated SF. Trying to get more info on both. May take awhile as pipeline is focused on league play now. We need a double W this week with same effort as Joe's game.
