Just rubbing two sticks together, no smoke, and the other no fire, just wishful thinking. For now I ll call it positive thought. While there was no mention of Bonas visit YET, but a 2024 6’9”255 big, TRISTEN GUILLOUETT, who holds offers from us, Seton Hall, Fairfield and a number of other suitors has announced a visit to Fairfield. A couple of BW posters raved about his skill set. Tristen is from Burlington, NJ Tristen is playing at St Joe s Prep.
Fingers crossed a Bonas visit might be in the ether.

From 24/7 sports on titter announcing the visit of 2024 C Amdy Ndiaye 6’o” 205, who plays at Long Isjand Lutheran will visit St Bonaventure on September 15th.
I note that rivals.com lists Amdy as playing at Putnam Science.

Playing at PSA this coming season may improve the chances of seeing the Senegal flag in the RC next year. He had visited Rutgers.
The 6’9” center plays for Long Island Lutheran in Glen Head, New York but is a native of Senegal. He only started playing basketball roughly six years ago per an interview with Pro Insight. Before coming to the US, Ndiaye played three years for the Nanterre junior team in France.
Ndiaye has a 4-star rating by ESPN. He also has a 3-star rating by 247 Sports who also list him as the No. 6 recruit in New York and No. 39 center overall. Ndiaye doesn’t have a composite ranking because he isn’t rated by every recruiting service. This could be due to only playing in the states for his junior and senior seasons, both at Long Island Lutheran. The school does play in the competitive NIBC and they finished No. 5 nationally in the ESPN Top 25 poll last season.
Ndiaye was named a standout by multiple recruiting analysts at both the La Porte Invitational and Hoop Hall Classic in January.

Jayan Walker is a strong 6'5 combo guard who can play the 1,2,and 3. He is a tenacious defender who can guard 4 positions. Has a unorthodox type of jump shot but makes a whole bunch of them. This kid comes from a very competitive Millbrook N.C.program. He rebounds well and has a nose for the ball as he anticipates well and disrupts the passing lanes.Believe he will be a Stat stuffer in college ball. I would be very excited to land this kid.

I saw on Twitter where Anadou Doumbia, 6’10” C whose most recent team was Real Madrid (Spain) he was from Mali, playing With a U18 team through NBA Next Generation.Amadeu had stated the usual, blessed to receive an offer from St Bonaventure. Hard to know where to slot Amadeus with respect to his class, 2024, 2025 or 2026. His birthday year was listed as 2005. That said, what little I could find about Amadeu is that he appears to be a very talented young man.

Is Walker still visiting this weekend? I thought I read that one of our assistants would be at his school to see him play

On cue, negative Bona student post from TownieGrad. Yes, there are some bad apples that do bad things in Allegany and THEY SHOULD FACE CONSEQUENCES. How about instead of focusing on the bad you focus on some of the good SBU does in the community, or better yet why doesn’t Allegany crack down on some of the slum lords? Some of those places should be condemned. You could also cue the tumbleweed in Allegany if SBU didn’t exist.
