Bonafan"forever" sorry about your disenchantment about NIL.
It seems to me that Big confeschools always got the prime talent and even some may think that some athletes got side gratuities during that Era that enabled schools like Syracuse to bring in 5 star recruits.
But St Bonaventure remains a standout in the A10 which no small accomplishment given its enrollment.
I think we can still be proud of our staff, roster and program going forward.
I hope you reconsider and hang in there .

Zion Stanford offered by Bonnies per verbal commits.
He is a Philly kid who is an ankle breaker with a smooth floor game and an array of moves and shots. Temple in on him hard. Our target list for 2023 keeps expanding. Staff seems to be creating major insurance policy in the event some players don't succeed.

Seth Joba a legit 6'8-225 is a smooth lefty. Can operate in the lane with power moves and slashing drives. He has above average range on a pretty jumper and seems very accurate with it.Not sure how he translates into A10 level but clearly should be watched closely. Gotta love those lefties. They throw defenses off and this kid could add another dimension

Yes: there is a long list of former wny players that enrolled at bona...lately Welch is pretty solitary...a current miss is jeenathan Williams at u.b. Other big misses Christian laettner, cliff robinson Just thinking that bona could make a better effort “discovering” area talent...which also drives area fan interest. Developing marginal players and discovering unrecruited talents can be done in ny as well as at distant and obscure locations in the south and Midwest. Yeah, we really let Laettner get away!!!!! Can't believe he chose Duke over St bonaventure back then. We were 13-15 and he was playing in NCAA championships- if not that year his last 2 years. Wow, we really whiffed on him b/c i bet he was dying to come here. All your post are idiotic. Holy hell. Maybe start following youth basketball and learn the game before making idiotic comments about a team you really don't know much about. We landed tim Winn from Niagara falls and made it to the tournament. Remember that rookie??? Can you rename your handle to Uneducated Townie?  ?? B/c it's embarrassing. You know nothing about St. Bonaventure and you are a local with a degree? ? Must of been one of those covid diplomas that everyone got. |
