Is the portal finally closed? Yes. Deadline to enter portal was May 11… but grad students can enter the portal anytime.

Certainly not batting a thousand today. Brad Evewiro, 6'9" Georgetown PF to St Louis and Wheza Panzo, 6'7" Stetson sharp shooter to Iona. Well, I guess there's always tomorrow. Go for a walk in the Woods and enjoy your day mnbonnie.

I don’t want to act like the Bonnies have assembled the perfect roster, but they pretty much filled all the holes from last season. MAW will provide ball handling and another scoring option/playmaker. Can play either the 1 or 2. Syracuse native that is familiar/friends with Pride. He started every game for Cincinnati the past 2 seasons. Speaks to his consistency and reliability.

They are still keeping players as well as landing new players during this NIL B.S.

The players who departed Bona's for greener pastures on the portal have they landed on any division one programs? Just curious what happened to them, somehow I don't think they landed on a P6 program or is it P5 that is the power house money programs.

Or is it more likely the staff told them to go and look around? Seems like the guys that left would mostly be looking to transfer down in conferences.

Obviously I don't know if they left for greener pastures or were advised to look at other options in the portal. No one knows, unless they have been included in the closed door discussions with coach Schmidt and his staff. I think it is safe to assume the guys would be transferring down a level in conference as you state. Be shocking to see a bench player from Bona's end up at Ohio State or Texas.

I saw where this kid, excuse me, man, (Towns) transferring from Ohio State is entering his 8th year of college basketball.
Due to injuries and the free Covid year he could have 2 years of eligibility. He is 26 years old and started his college career at Harvard…..in 2016
Just insane

Jon Rothstein is reporting that Richmond’s TYLER BURTON is entering the transfer portal as a graduate student. Big blow to the Spiders and the A10.
