It’s really starting to feel like Venning is a net negative on the floor. And here Schmidt goes without a 5 here in the first half with the season on the line So far, an absolutely brilliant move by Schmidt. Evans playing really inspired defense right now. Nothing short of an Outstanding few of minutes from him at the 5.

Venning has to sit. This lineup is the best one we have right now.

Good finish but dang that 3 is a dagger!
Loyola just annoys me! Coach Valentine and Alston!!! Good player and coach is having a good year but they are just annoying lol.
9 isn’t awful for us being 1 for 8 from 3 but we have to open up the second half and chip away right away. If not the pressure on us will just suffocate us

Damn. Unfortunate that 3 falls to end the half. The small ball lineup won’t work for the entire second half. 6 instead of 9 was really manageable.

2 - 9 assists That kills us 1/8 vs 5/12 from 3.
Layola is playing very good defense. They are boxing out really well.

Alston's TREY at buzzer to go up 9-OUCH!
Not who Ramblers wanted taking a TREY as their last shot. He's a 21% TREY shooter. BUT 2-2 so far!

Wide open misses in the first half is the story. Nothing new from this team this year. Pride missed at least two, Banks missed one and Flowers has missed two as well.
Make some shots and this becomes a game, real quick.

I’m at the game & I haven’t seen a game this physical with all kinds of hand checking in a long time. Took some time, but the Bonnie’s woke up & realized that they needed to be physical, if that’s how they’re going to call the game. Loved the smaller lineup & the comeback. Go Bonas!

Moses just isn’t effective right now and should be out

Venning has been awful defensively and on the glass. He really shouldn’t be on the floor at all going forward when you’re down this much.

Mark’s complete, inability to generate any sort of offense, and I mean any sort of offense, is an issue. It’s on him. Puzzling.

Venning can not rebound--or pass.
We keep driving on 6'11" guy and guess what--blocks. We have no plays from Schmidt's "massive" playbook--just put heads down and drive or chuck. Supposedly the weakness of teams coming way way out to guard you is it opens up space for cuts and foul line jumpers. Non-existent in this play book.
