I wonder if Drew Valentine has had this game circled like he did our previous meeting? Stupid Harry Potter scarves, whining about coach of the year, whining about no players on the first A10 team, Loyola and Valentine might be trying to replace Travis Ford and St. Louis as the most annoying coach and team in the league. I have respect for Loyola and think they were a good addition, but maybe they should calm down a bit? We have shown that we can beat this team. We all know if we play well we will do it again today!

It has got to help that we just played and beat them, right? Like lingering in their heads a little right?

Totally concur with Sipowicz, the 2024 Bonnie trend is two great consecutive performances after two nightmares. Lets hope that tendency continues this evening, feeling good about our chances. Go Bona's beat Loyola

Loyola missed a dozen or more wide open looks vs us two weeks ago. LUC also had a ton of bad turnovers which, I know, is one of their weaknesses. My fear is if we don't do a better job covering their shooters this game could get out of hand.
The Ramblers have an athletic group of wings. Two of them can shoot from deep. I would expect Mark to have some zone D options ready to go.

As we all know match ups are key in these games and we are a way better match up against Loyola versus Lasalle so I have high hopes for today. Our wings can play with their wings but their guards are slower, though can shoot well. I expect a six point win.

Dribble drive just like yesterday and if/when they turn it over, you get out in transition against them. Loyola's D is good in the half court. Our D needs to frustrate them on the other end

Our impressive win at the RC over LUC was due in large part to their 19 TOs and our superior shooting.
Their 15-3 record in conference play was accomplished while lacking a conference high scorer nor rebounder. Their greatest strengths are the playmaking skills of NORRIS (had 7 against us) and their team rebounding (#3 Reb Margin).
NORRIS is arguably the best in the A10 distributing the ball while being the #3 TREY shooter (.436). He had 11 assists & 19 pts vs DAYTON. His 7 assists in our game was tarnished by our D turning him over 5 times. I don't expect a repeat of that.
They are #1 in the conference with 16.8 Assists a game and keeping teams to 40% FGs.
RUBIN is the #2 shot blocker (2.3) but blocked none of our shots last game. ADELEKUN blocked 2 and is a known shot blocker also.
Their offense has lots of motion and passing which may attribute to their 12.9 TOs a game.
I expect they will be highly motivated by the fact that not only did we beat them by 15 at the RC but their 15 point loss was their worst beating in the conference.
Mika is #2 hitting TREYS at a 46% rate. I hope to see him put up more than just the 1 he took and made in the corner on a catch and shoot bucket yesterday. Although only one player in the A10 shoots the TREY better he has been reluctant to let it fly. He has attempted only 103 long balls. REYNOLDS at St Joes has hoisted 263 @ 38%.
DARYL had a big game in our LUC win. 26 pts, 4-8 TREYS & 12-12 FTs. Yesterday he took only 4 shots. He was 3-4, 2-3 TREYS & 3-3 critical FTs. After an underwhelming start to the season his TREY ball has returned .402. LUC may be focused on him since he burned them in their worst conference loss. Although DARYL took only 4 shots yesterday his drive to the basket to score in the closing seconds around their BIG JOCIUS was HUGE.
Here's hoping Dr Jekyll shows up in Barclays again where we are 2-1 this season.

I love Steve Watson but would like seeing him departing BKLYN tonight.
If we loose I hope he and his Ramblers go all the way!
