Enjoyed watching replays of the game. Always spot things missed watching live.
During the final 9.9 sec of the game, NORRIS (guarded by MIKA) passed the ball in to WATSON (guarded by Flowers) who dribbled the ball toward the Rambler bench where MIKA switched to guard him. Mika swatted the ball out of WATSON's hands and DARYL attempted to grab the loose ball diving after it with the ball going out of bounds leaving 3.4 on the clock.
It happened so fast that the announcers, nor I live, realized that it was MIKA that created the near turn over. Video review was difficult to tell if it went off WATSON's fingers or DARYL's.
MIKA did not play well but disrupting that key possession may very well have sealed the W.
I thought VALENTINE's drawn up inbound play with 3.4 secs left, handled by two players resulting in a 30 ft hurried TREY by WATSON was poorly designed.
In describing BONA's second Half come back, the color commentator claimed, "We are watching a coaching Picasso this 2nd half by Coach Schmidt."

Loyola coach is probably still confused. He's young so he's going to be a problem for the Bonnies for years to come. Schmidt went to that small line up and although the guards struggled with that defensive pressure. However spreading the court really helped. Loyola missed like 14 straight shots and I couldn't tell if it was great defense or just bad luck. It appeared to be because of just bad luck. REFS were not helping us at all. They ignored 2 blatant travel call- one when the guy slipped on his own and they reviewed it and called it off of Noels hand. It was a straight easy travel call. Then the one were Loyola guy caught the pass and took 3 steps without one dribble and called a timeout. That's not right. Loyola had the ball bouncing their way, the refs helping them out, the announcers were even on their side. That's the funniest game I've watched. We should have never won. LOL>. Everything was against ST Bona-and they were not playing good at all. That's a great win.

Not sure why you describe it as not good? Mika had only 3 turnovers in 48 exhausting minutes under constant harassment by Loyola’s athletic and long 6-6 guards. Mika had 13 points and 7 rebounds and was clutch at the line (5/5). Mika made 2 or maybe 3 bad plays all game. DB3 had three TOs in the second half, by comparison. MAW could barely move his feet/legs in the second overtime. He was being held when off the ball — one time it caused him to pickup an offensive foul for pushing a defender to the ground. One poster called it a 5th grade bad play. I thought he was trying to get free from an armlock the only way he could. Mika scored 7 points midway through the second half when LUC started to stretch its lead. He was keeping us in the game. Yes it was mainly DB3 providing the heroics late in the game but all Mika has done the first two games in Brooklyn is commit only 3 turnovers in 84 minutes against stronger, quicker opponents. He has been 9/9 from the line.

Good points about MIKA. Maybe I should have said he had a sub par game. I expect more from him than 4-13 FGs, 0-4 TREYS (he's 2nd best Trey shooter in the A10) and 2 assists to 3 TOs. His saving play with the game on the line was HUGE but essentially gone unnoticed.

Lets also give big props to MIKA for putting the glove on Norris all day. He "cut the head off the snake" holding their floor general to a 3 point outing (1-6), and made it very difficult for Loyola to get into their half-court sets.
