Well I got my 20 wins.....but let's not stop....shout out to all the fans who made it to Brooklyn. Here in Aruba can't stream games without using different server. Flashback listening radio feed of early internet sitting in my basement with dial up connection to the WPIG.

Gritty not pretty. Boy, the refs blew big time in the final 2 minutes and in OT. They nearly spoiled this great comeback victory.
LUC put amazing pressure on our guards, forcing them out near the half court line during many 2nd half possessions. Our offense was stagnant but managed to scratch out a few buckets and many, many, many trips to the FT line.
The Bona D was heroic by pitching a shutout over the last 6 minutes of regulation. LUC scored only two free throws in the final 7 minutes… going 0 for 9 from the field with 2 turnovers and a couple late choke jobs at the FT line.
Kudos to Noel who was a man on bad ankles and getting little help from Chad.
Amazing.

Watson for Loyola a brutal 2-16 performance capped with an airball at tbe buzzer. Not pretty but it’s on to the A10 semis. If Loyola guards had shot 9 of 40…..they would have won the game. Fortunately, they didn’t. |

Still shook from tonight’s game. Team never gave up. Crowd didn’t give up either. And speaking of the crowd, y’all better show up Saturday because bona fans were outnumbered two to one tonight.

Perhaps the 3rd time w Dance will be the charm for Bona against a dangerous Iron Duke squad fresh off a big upset of UD.
One thing is certain-- the A10 will have two Dance cards.

that game was incredible. Not the most well played game because there were mistakes from both teams and some glaring referee errors. (by the way, if we had lost after the referees gave the ball back to loyola for the ball tipping off Brown's finger despite a clear and blatant travel from Loyola, I dont think I would ever recover!)
but it was incredibly entertaining
Loyola took an insane 75 shots when is the last time you have seen that. That's 15 more shots than we had

gregmitch70 posted the link to Mike Lindsley's 23-minute recap of the LUC game.
I had never seen his recaps which provide detailed commentary on the game. I really liked his analysis pointing out the good and bad aspects of the game. There are a few posters who tend to weigh in on only the negative plays. Mike provides an excellent balance in his analysis with praise when deserved. Impressed with Mike's focus when joined by his adorable daughter (around age 3) toward the end of his video.
Glad to see he pointed out DARYL's incredible "Pistol Pete" like pass behind his head for an easy finish by NOEL. Credit to Noel for cleanly handling an incredible pass finishing and completing the 3 point pay at the line to TIE the game at 58 with 14 secs to go.
