I obviously want an NCAA berth but it keeps a NIT chance alive too. Extra Bonnie basketball!!! 0% shot at NIT. Our NET ranking is too low. Win or go home! EDIT: Last season, only two teams with a NET below 80 got into the NIT. Bona currently sits at 83. So it will be close.

Totally concur with Sipowicz, the 2024 Bonnie trend is two great consecutive performances after two nightmares. Lets hope that tendency continues this evening, feeling good about our chances. Go Bona's beat Loyola Let's have 9 more great consecutive performances! I don't see why not. How about 8 more great consecutive performances!

What in the name of St. Bonaventure is going on here?
A double-ot win over a touted Loyola squad to give the Bonnies their 20th triumph this season. Pinch me.
DB3 -- CLUTCH. A pair of key treys and those unreal three fts to ultimately decide the outcome. Shades of David Messiah Capers!
DB3, Chuck and Mika a combined 12-for-37 from the floor, Bona only 37% fg overall. But here's the thing, Bona 1/2 ft at the half, finished 27/31 from the stripe. 26/29 2nd half + 2 ots. Our guys took it to the Ramblers and did what was necessary to play extra hoops.
I have been impressed with Noah Brown in this tourney, a 5/5 fg, 13-pt effort. He's busting his tail out there and that effort has rubbed off onto his teammates.
I don’t know how much gas they have left in those buckling Boy Ranger legs, but this has been inspired basketball in Brooklyn.
THIS is the Bona club we thought we would see this year, but that maddening inconsistency seemed to dog them time and again.
When it seemed gloomy after the two final reg season losses, they have turned the tourney on its ear by playing hard but loose.
Goodness, it's gravy time. Play with house $ and keep at it!

Unfortunately, despite a great win, LUC's NET not so hot so won't help our NET that much for NIT, though not fair....if we beat Dayton then NET would really climb (even if lose in finals, which we won't). And Dayton doesn't scare me--on neutral court.

Grateful for the win, but you have to admit that this game was a terrible display of basketball. Sloppy with low basketball IQ. Still glad to get the win.

I repeat ... most stupid team in basketball The most stupid team in basketball is going on in playoffs. I would say your comment is the most stupid comment that I’ve seen on the bandwagon, but I don’t even know if you make the top ten.

The impact of the new tourney structure giving us a day off cannot be overstated. We’d be staggering by the 2nd half tomorrow.

I wonder if Jay Adams and Denzel Valentine had a bit of a bet going today. Regardless, Jay wins!!

When this teams back is to the wall they are like Rocky Balboa, the more they get hit the tougher and meaner they get on defense and the boards.
