I would love to see Kalua Anya in our brown and white uniforms! Justin Johnson had a good visit it looks like! Who do you like out of our upcoming visitor? Marcus Greene Eric Acker Tyran Cook Emmanuel Okorafor Chimobi Ikegwuruka I’d really like to get Johnson. After that, Jaquan Carlos is my #1 target for PG. I’d like to add Greene as well. Acker/Cook, I’m indifferent. I think it's at the point that they have to take what they can get. A whole roster to fill and transfers are going fast. I don't know but it's not looking great. |

Early portal target Isaiah Gray from Cornell chooses Akron. Was being courted by several high majors. Bona getting portal skooled by Akron and the rest of the MAC.
9 to fill...April 23rd...sure hope staff has some tricks up their sleeves.

Personally, was not a big fan of GRAY, games I saw him play, he had occassional scoring bursts but played out of control too often especially at crunch time.
Yes, Akron has been busy in the portal, to be seen if it will equate to success.
Not ready to play the "chicken little card" yet. Staff had 3 in last week, at least 2 in last weekend, plus JUSTIN JOHNSON last week, 3 were in last night, and more scheduled this week.

Akron's been to the NCAA 2 of last 3 years and all SBU has to show is a meaningless NIT Final 4 run and a decision to not participate. Hopefully Schmidt is drawing up more plays to further complicate his system.

The Portal Report is claiming ST. BONAVENTURE is showing interest in Western Texas(JUCO) and former Arizona State signee 6-9 JEREMIAH NYARKO. Although NYARKO signed with Arizona State, he played one year at San Diego before going to Western Texas. JEREMIAH averaged 14 ppg, 5.3 rpg & shot 37% from 3 this year. |

Akron's been to the NCAA 2 of last 3 years and all SBU has to show is a meaningless NIT Final 4 run and a decision to not participate. Hopefully Schmidt is drawing up more plays to further complicate his system. Yeah, because Schmidt has never been to two tourneys in a three-tourney span before 🙄 |
