MARTINEZ has entered the transfer portal. Lol Allegany and Olean are small but definitely have some good places to eat! Haha why are we taking recruits to Perkins? Hey, maybe Perkin’s is good luck, that’s where they had taken JALEN ADAWAY when he visited! LOL In the past I have seen a couple potential recruits say they just had their best breakfast ever at SPRAGUES on their Twitter sites only to end up else where. LOL😂

Having been to many, it’s quite possible that Olean has the only good Perkins in existence.

Surprised there’s no love for Century Manor, where I had one of the best ribeye steaks I’ve ever had, and at a very reasonable price (although that was a decade or so ago). But I agree Perkins seems like an odd choice, even for breakfast and I have not seen a Perkins still open anywhere besides Olean and Spragues is just outstanding IMO.

Only on the Bandwagon could a thread about landing a prized recruit devolve into a discussion about Perkins.

Only on the Bandwagon could a thread about landing a prized recruit devolve into a discussion about Perkins. Back in the Neolithic Age we had Campbell's Truck Stop, Lincoln Diner or Mary's Diner...If you got there before the bewitching hour, Big Ron could whip you up a killer cheesesteak @ Judy's too.

How about Paul's Steakhouse with the very large bovine animal out front. Too bad it burnt down in the mid 70's.

In addition to the Stinkin Lincoln, there was the State Diner, Chuck Wagon, Fremming's (Later Gomez) Hot Shop, Reynold's Rambling Ranch, Ho-Sta-Geh, Lucia's, and Reihler's Meadowbrook. Crosby's had ice cream.
