Jacks -the same way the school has marketed season tickets for decades. Bona games are the best show in town and are relatively cheap.

Mansfield, really? We have played Mansfield State before, and everyone needs a cupcake tune up game, right? Playing Mansfield at their place would be great if it was this Mansfield and not the one in Ohio. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mansfield_Giants

There are no intriguing OOC games and nobody knows who these players on our team are. How can we market season ticket sales? This is sad I think you answered your own question. Part of the intrigue of this season will be the unknown and getting a look at this new crop of players. I’m excited to see how they develop. I think they will be better than expected, with Council Jr leading the charge.

This is sad The Bryant game offers some intrigue with Barry Evans and Schmidt's son coming in. I think it's a weekend game too. Also, SUNY Amherst on a Saturday will be a popular OOC game. Most people are like me though... if they are rolling out the basketballs and wearing Bona uniforms I'm going to watch It is a disappointing home OOC slate though - hoping for better results next year

Very disappointing schedule. I understand the days of getting any of the Power 4 and Big East are long gone. That is not possible. True road games at Bucknell and Florida Gulf Coast? Home game against a D2 team? We need to do better.

Fact of the matter is we have a limited budget and three mouths to feed. Schmidt’s $1.8M salary, the player’s NIL fund and money to put together a schedule. Given our resources, that’s why you get the schedule you get year after year. Schmidt is a great coach but he’s just 17-19 in A10 play during the NIL era. This year will be telling to see if he has what it takes to be successful in this new era. I’m not sure what is more important in this era, but sooner than later, the coach that is one of the highest paid in the A10 needs to turn in results better than 8th and 7th.

Fisher is D3, not even D2. It was pathetic that they scheduled them Hinsdale high must’ve been booked Anyway, you seem like you wanted to get a good rant in

So ZORRO(RES), how is BUCKNELL going to look this year? Lost their top scorer, but seven of the top eight guys return. John Griffin will start his 2nd year as head coach. He had those guys really working hard and still having fun last year. I don't know much about the newcomers. I don't know where the scoring will come from but I expect them to be better this year. How much better I do not know. They finished 275 last year per kenpom. I'm hoping thet can get that up to between 225 and 250 this year. Baby steps, but important ones. Their OOC schedule, while not finalized, is brutal. Colgate is trending down and I think the league is in play.

It's official, Bucknell has announced its schedule and is hosting Bona on Dec. 4. Also hosting Richmond on Nov. 16.

It’s too nice outside for your negativity. Hate to say it, but he's right. Look at Barry Evans and Assa. They both should have come back and they didn't. It makes it hard to get excited about college basketball like we used to because there's no continuity to following the team and watching the players progress. It's ruined college basketball and there's no arguing that!
