Thought there was a thread on this, but I couldn’t find it.
Some recent news. Rocco Miller posted we’ll host Le Moyne Nov. 16. There was also an unconfirmed report about hosting Cal St. Northridge on Nov. 5. SBUnfurled mentioned we’d be in the ESPN Events Invitational. But that is rumored to split the P5 teams from the rest. So it’s an unknown if that’s 2 or 3 games.
Anyhow, in addition to those, you have to assume Buffalo (H), Niagara (H), Canisius (A), Siena (A) and I’ll throw the return game for FGCU (A) on there as it was a late scratch last year. That’s already 9-10 games without anything to look forward to (if the rumor is true on the ESPN event). Hoping for some news, good news at that, soon.
Anyone hearing anything else?

This is disappointing. Appears the ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando is splitting in half: a 4-team pod for power-conference teams and another 4-team pod for the others. Florida, Minnesota, Wake Forest, and a team to be determined will make up one pod. St Bonaventure, Wichita State, and two other teams will make up the other pod. x.com/tayloreldridge/status/1791627636277444709

I'm not sure what you mean, but I heard from another reliable source that this was in the works.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I heard from another reliable source that this was in the works. Rat smell definition! "If you're near a nest, you may smell a musty ammonia smell from the urine in the nest. You might also smell it if you open a cabinet that has been closed for a while. But some people have likened the smell of rodents to maple syrup, grape soda, popcorn, corn chips, or corn tortillas."Except for the ammonia smell from the urine, the rest sounds pretty and is quite familiar with the American diet!

If anyone is interested in schedule news. As rf1 linked in his article the tournament in Orlando was splitting in two. Four power five teams in one half. Wichita St. and SBU in the other half with two other teams. The rumor was that Wichita may pull out because of the split. Wichita State has now been put into the power 5 bracket. I wonder if we may not go? It is a slap in the face to non power 5's. I would not go if it was up to me. Have some pride and go to a different event.

These tournaments are one chance to play power 5 teams on a neutral court. Bona has beaten Maryland, Oklahoma State, Clemson, and Marquette in tournaments in recent years. This is another example of power 5 screwing the little guy. Wake Forest and Minnesota, are power 5 teams SBU could beat, but now won't have the chance.

It’s an “ESPN event” and one of our most famous alums has a little clout at ESPN… you’d think he could help with this BS
— Yah if we have to travel down there to play Monmouth in the “B” bracket, you decline and stay home. But we don’t have an AD at the moment
