Would 'CBSsports.com live video' carry the game on the net or is CBS sports network a different channel all together.

Welcome, highflyer. Kendall Pollard didn't distinguish himself in last year's visit to Olean. He played 12 minutes, went 0-1 from the field, turned the ball over three times and was charged with two personal fouls while never getting to the free throw line. On the positive side, he was credited with one steal and 3 rebounds. Devin Oliver and Vee Sanford were your big point-getters, scoring 30 of your 72 points. Kavanaugh and Price accounted for 14 more. Scoochie Smith did little better than Pollard. Those still on your roster who hurt us the most were Pierre and Sibert, who scored 15 of your points. However, between them they shot 6-19 from the field. Bona fans are really hoping your 3-point shooting is no better than last year's 5-13 showing though we know the Flyers have been shooting the lights out lately. This shapes up to be a terrific college b-ball game. As I recall, the Flyers started their run about the time of last year's match and, of course, all Bona fans hope you will return the favor to us this year. May the better team win! Edit: I should add that last year's match was one of Ndoye's better games. In scoring 17 points he hit every shot from the field, 5-7 free throws, blocked FIVE shots, and pulled down 7 rebounds. He was charged with just one foul, but did turn the ball over three times in his 32 minutes on the floor. The Flyers, like the Bonnies, are a very different team from last year. There are no 1 for 1 replacements for Oliver, Sanford, Kavanaugh or even Price. But the players who are playing have other strengths. Kendall Pollard, who you mention, was just a freshman last year, playing behind 5 upperclassmen bigs, plus Dyshawn Pierre. He has grown up quite a bit since then. Kyle Davis, also, has stepped into an important role. Though he isn't a great shooter, his defense and tenacity have proved valuable. Ndoye faced a more "normal" adversary in last year's game, going up against 6'10 Matt Kavanaugh, and 6'9 Devon Scott and Jalen Robinson. He was facing players who had the same strengths as him. This year will be different, though that is not to say he won't dominate again. It looks like the Bonnies are different too, in a good way. The new guards seem to be fitting in nicely. So I don't know how much last year's game can predict this years.

Ian I struggled through your answer to the first question.. I've had more enjoyable dental visits. All I will say is you are a better blogger than you would be a recruiter... don't apply for any assistant coaching jobs

Highflyer, I'm not saying last year's game is a good predictor for tomorrow. Just interesting to inquire why players who didn't register last year will take charge now and why the ones who did well should not be expected to repeat. Flyers have been winning lately by shooting the three; tomorrow's outcome is largely dependent on whether the shots keep dropping, and that goes for the Bonnies' side as well.

Hi bona fans, flyer fan here, looking forward to tomorrow's game. Whichever team can make other adjust their style is likely to win, in my opinion. Dayton has been a far better team since losing its two bigs. They were tall but not as talented as the guys who are getting the minutes now. Dyshawn Pierre and Kendall pollard are short but strong enough to battle down low. Unfortunately, they have since lost senior guard Ryan bass, and are down to SIX scholarship players. With a seven man rotation (walk on bobby wehrli is the back up big man), foul trouble is the biggest concern. Dayton is 4-0 since becoming a new team, but all the games were at home, and I will admit the zebras allowed the flyers to be aggressive on D and on the boards. Do you guys play a zone? I think it will be hard for ndoye to stay on the court if he has to guard pollard man to man. Both GT and ole miss had to abandon their traditional pf/c lineup because they just couldn't keep up. That said, ndoye could be a nightmare if he is the center of a zone. Good luck! I'll be the first to admit that I thought Dayton was done when they lost their 2 big men. Still can't figure out how Dayton's front line of 6'6", 6'6" and 6'4" was able to defend Georgia Tech's bruising front line of 6'8", 6'8" and 6'9". The two 6'8" players weigh more than Youssou. Georgia Tech is also a solid team, which is reflected by them being 9th in Coaches Poll and 10th in AP Poll. Schmidt primarily is a man for man coach. He has used the 1-3-1, but I do not see him using it much against Dayton considering your great shooters. I also see man defense being helpful in tiring out your short bench. Who knows we might even see a press, which looked great against Dartmouth. I'm just hopeful Dayton's jump shots are off and Youssou and Dion are a force underneath. I think big key of this game is can our perimeter players defend your 3 point shooters and can Dayton stop Youssou. So far this season Archie Miller has to be an early leading candidate for coach of the year. Consider Dayton's tallest player is 6'6", lost 3 starters from last year (including their leading scorer), two 6'9" players kicked off the team and has only six scholarship players. It is incredible that Dayton has an 11-2 record and current RPI of 19. statsheet.com/mcb/teams/georgia-tech/playerswarrennolan.com/football/2014/pollswarrennolan.com/basketball/2015/schedule/Dayton

The biggest game of the season is approaching with Dayton at the top of the A10 in Non Conference wins. It is imperative that we come out strong, but more importantly our fans come out and support Bonas this Thursday. Here in NYC we are having a viewing party at Rathbones for the game as we always do, but those in the Olean area please attend this game and support on the Bonnies as a win against Dayton and their record this far would be a great boost for this years squad. Lets go Bonas Beat Dayton! How is that place? Winning is always better than losing.... I kind of feel Umass isn't very good..... Their coach also isn't the best recruiter..... A bigger state school should be able to get better players, but he tends to fail on that ... Lets wait/ see how we perform against Dayton.... If we play well/ win that will show a lot... I have noticed one big issue.... DEPTH or lack there of..... I would assume the DNP bench players seem to be a liability if put on the court. / yes I had a very nice day SHU beat another top 25 team/ SBU won... not a bad day. It's great. I've watched dozens of games there over the years. Always a good crowd and cheap drinks. Major props to Kevin who arranges it. This is going to be tough matchup but I'm hopeful for a bonnies win. Interested to see the line tomorrow. My guess is they'll give Dayton 3 points.

Another great in depth article from Ian. I found following especially interesting. -- Ian states "Dayton is a credible top 50 team, and right now likely sits right on the NCAA bubble." Dayton has defeated 2 top 25 teams (#9 Ole Miss and #10 Georgia Tech) and their 2 losses came against Arkansas with a current RPI of 23 and Connecticut RPI of 80. Their schedule says they are better than a bubble team. -- Ian states "They’ve got no height inside with Pollard being their biggest body at 6-6. Ndoye and Wright, and even Dees should be able to get whatever they want inside in terms of position. This is a game where Youssou could single-handedly win it for SBU himself." I agree, but I'm worried about the fact Georgia Tech (#10 ranked team in the nation) with an even bigger front line than the Bonnies could not win against Dayton's tiny front line. Really enjoyed the Q & A with the Dayton blogger. -- Dayton blogger commented "Olean is one of the tougher places to play in the league, primarily due to the fact that the SBU students are basically allowed to stand on the court and play defense during the games." -- His following comment about Andrew "Andrew Nicholson wore clown shoes and that amused me more than it should have." -- His comment that Dayton has to "shoot at least 40% from three" for rest of the season to win, is an extremely high expectation. Then again they've done it for the last 4 games. -- My favorite is "Ndoye could put up a 20-20 and I wouldn’t be surprised. I think UD loses a close one, 70-67."

I posted a comment to the blog post:
Someone posted on the Wagon about a lineup of Alston with posey and Adams #10 on the 3pt wings and a N and another : Wright/Gregg in the post. Some creative matching up could work to our advantage! GoBonnies!
Spread the floor on O! Is Dayton due for a sub 35% 3pt shooting night?

In what polls are GT and Ole Miss ranked? Did you look at the football polls by mistake?
