According to ADAM ZAGORIA of ZAGSBLOG: HOLT's 2 top choices are Toledo & ST. BONAVENTURE. I was hoping after this weekend the Bonnies were his only choice. Family and friends can visit any time with Bona being just an hour and 40 minutes away.

I have to believe the Bonnies should be the frontrunner but you never know with kids. The obvious reasons is the better league and the proximity to home. We need Andrew to make a call and tell him the benefits of being a Bonnie.

Yep. I heard it's beautiful in Otumwwa Iowa in February. Besides, isn't Otumwwa Iowa the home of Radar O'Reillly of MASH fame.? yep, that must be it. Amazing.

Looks like EMMITT got a taste of BCS and wanted more despite losing a year of D1 eligibility.

I like that we are mentioned in his top 2, but a decent year at Indian Hills means he will have plenty of choices. Hooefully we stay in touch and remain towards the top of his list.

But sadly, they have a completely new staff.

Doesn't necessarily mean he wants to go BCS school, just that he wants to play this year and not sit out a year -- smart choice!

But by going JUCO does he not lose a year of D1 eligibility by not sitting out a year? Also, unless grades were involved, if EMMITT wanted to come to BONAS, wouldn't he be here?

Certainly no expert here, but he goes Juco and would have 2 years left wherever he lands.

If he wanted to play here and keep year of eligibility then he would be. Nothing more to talk about on Holt, except when he signs somewhere else in a year
