Ok, i do understand that everybody has their opinion. And, i do understand that some may think that their view is the only view. Or, the correct view. I will also say; that there are 2, at least, on here, that think they know the "truth". You dont. You are not even close.

We will always be just about where we are cuz of Schmidt! He is one of the worst of in game adjustments, we took a 15 point lead then Archie mad an adjustment, and Schmidt never responded back. I will eat my crow about Adams, he is elite, and our coach isn't! I wouldn't be surprised if Adams is out of here next year, guy probably wants to go dancing, and with our coaches track record 1 NCAA tourney in 15 seasons! I don'the think you can assume that Adam's is going anywhere unless it's to the dance next year with Bonas. There is more to college sports than just winning big. Unless you know Adam's personally you can't make that statement. Teammates and friends account for something. I was a Bona athlete and if another program wanted me to play for them, even if they had a shot at a national title, I would not have never left my Teammates. My Teammates from Bonas are my best friends. You can't find that anywhere and wouldn't just give it up.

Reigning A10 Coach of the Year I understand that he was, Gottfried made several NCAA appearances and he was fired, some people want big results, not less than 25 percent win percentage against top 100 teams, we're not even talking about top 50.....trust me if he was so elite another team would have wanted him by now. Usually guys that do a great job at the mid major level move on up if they are a hot commodity Coach was offered the Central Florida job last year. He stayed because its What his family wanted.

Respect to Jay. He tried to will his team to a victory. Remarkable effort. He made his first shot and you could just tell he was going to light it up. So many highlight reel plays.

Mangham- Will you please stop with the adolescent ranting. Bonafan5000 makes valid points and is right about Schmidt. You sound the like 5 year old plugging his ears who doesn't want to hear the truth. If Schmidt left tomorrow, it wouldn't bother me in the least. He is what he is: An average coach at best. Deal with it and if you disagree, come up with a reasonable argument. Otherwise, just go away!!! Who are you? Donald Trump's illegitimate son?? You have been given ample proof for months on here about the attributes of Coach Schmidt and you refuse to acknowledge them and keep ranting about the same thing with ignorance....

Just talked about immaturity, can't play this guy. He literally does us no good anymore I don't care if Schmidt had to play NELSON KAPUTO at center, Ayeni never should've come into the ball game after that technical. Granted the guy only started playing b-ball at 15 or so but "STOP at THE WHISTLE" is a standard rule. There was NO reason to keep playing tug of war with Cooke over the ball and creating a scene which ended up hurting his team again. Even though the refs screwed that series up too (why go to the monitor and look for accuracy when you totally ignore TWO pushes by Pollard and one by Williams and give our player the whole blame), Ayeni was being childish to continue grappling with Cooke and drawing attention.

That is how you can put a university on the map is by beating the big boys This stat has to do more with "Team Leadership" than coaching, I do believe. Last year we were 6-4 against Top 100 teams. The captains of that team, Posley and Wright, were LEADERS and it showed in our ability to pull out close games. This year, we just don't have it. I'm one who is going to call out Idris and Denzel, especially Gregg, because these guys fail to show up in our big games this year. Denzel could have hit a lot of shots today that he missed and was accurate in the LaSalle game earlier this week. He just isn't consistent enough shooting the ball like Dion was in the paint in his years at St. Bona. He had some nice defensive moments today and I love when he displays his leadership on the court like trying to get Ayeni under control in the game against LaSalle, but if we are going to be able to string together wins in the A-10 tourney, this guy is going to have to play his best ball of the year night to night.

There is complaining on the Dayton board about the officiating despite their win. Basically that JAY initiated the contact when on offense and always got the calls to go his way.

[br Finally someone agrees with me, it's becoming an every other game thing with Ayeni. Of course we like his intensity but after awhile it hurts our team! Learn to play the game under control, and his butt should have been on the bench the rest of the game!
