When the refs are this bad, I have to wonder if the league has told them that we need to get two teams into the dance, so make sure Dayton wins. It's the only explanation I can think of that would explain calls this bad. If it wasn't for the 3 blind men, Bonas would have won rather easily today. All the bickering about who did this or that right or wrong is meaningless with officiating like this. We were robbed every bit as much as in the VCU game. A real shame that Bona squandered a 15-pt lead. Once UD got rolling, and consistently played 7-on-5, you knew what was coming and how it would play out. The A10 apparently has a death wish for a two-bid NCAA tournament...UD and VCU and the hell with the rest of you

We will always be just about where we are cuz of Schmidt! He is one of the worst of in game adjustments, we took a 15 point lead then Archie mad an adjustment, and Schmidt never responded back. I will eat my crow about Adams, he is elite, and our coach isn't! I wouldn't be surprised if Adams is out of here next year, guy probably wants to go dancing, and with our coaches track record 1 NCAA tourney in 15 seasons! IDIOT Mangham- Will you please stop with the adolescent ranting. Bonafan5000 makes valid points and is right about Schmidt. You sound the like 5 year old plugging his ears who doesn't want to hear the truth. If Schmidt left tomorrow, it wouldn't bother me in the least. He is what he is: An average coach at best. Deal with it and if you disagree, come up with a reasonable argument. Otherwise, just go away!!!

That is how you can put a university on the map is by beating the big boys

You guys are crazy. it's not easy getting a coach to come to Bona's. Also, its a challenge to recruit here. Schmidt brings in some good talent and develops them. This year if we had woods/stockard and even tyson we would be a different team. Careful for what you wish for it could be alot worse

Careful for what you wish for it could be alot worse I am very grateful for what we have, and I think the guys played a hell of a game, we are undermanned obviously... But there is no excuse to lose all these games to the top teams, why can nobody else understand that a coach can make a huge difference with in game strategy, and it seems as if nobody wants to admit our guy gets crushed by the top coaches, I think the numbers don't lie- 26-80 in his time here against top 100... I must be wrong

Bonnies played with Bona pride and should raise their heads high.
Their play shows that everyone should attend the last several home, road games that they are able to attend. This team is giving it their all and we should all be proud of them!
Go Bonas!!!

I wish you and the king of strut could go back to the hole you climbed out of! Thanks for all your respect of another human being, I love being called an "idiot", you don't have to like my opinions but please respect me and not call me an idiot, the mathematical data supports the fact that our coach is a little bit better than average, don't be immature and call me an "idiot", I have never once called somebody else on the board a disrespectful name. Thanks.

Glad that the 13,455 packed house didn’t have TOO many opportunities to go bonkers today. Got real loud with 2 mins to go & quiet again as we pulled to within 3.
Last two games Jay is finally looking more Jay-like & moving much better. He needed just a little more help today from a few players to knock off the Flyers strangle hold on teams in their house.
Jay had nearly half the team’s points & 15 of the team’s 21 made FTs. I find it amazing that Matt was fouled only ONCE (his trey) as was, Denzel, Andoh, Ikpeze & Griff. NO ONE had a second trip to the line except JAY who gets there way more than anyone in the conference.
Fouls, once again, presented problems especially to our bigs.
We enjoyed a dominant PIP advantage of 16 to 8 the first half. Then as our fouls mounted, with little resistance inside, Dayton feasted on 22 to our 10 PIP.
The 4 remaining games are all very winnable with Davidson presenting the toughest challenge at their place. But we could easily lose to any of the remaining teams if shots don’t fall & we get in foul trouble.
Although many good looks were missed & mistakes made I love the attitude of our Bonnies.

Extremely average if you take the first 3 years away. Thanks Jive That isn't good... You think that is something to get excited about? Are you or anyone still thinking this team is a good team?

Jay played well.... That is what is sad about this league.... 4 remaining games that are very very winnable, because there are only two games in the league/ they aren't amazing.... What is Dayton's big win? They are similar to St. Joe's last year.. just compiled a lot of wins against middle of the level teams....

Reigning A10 Coach of the Year Tomgleason- I admit Schmidt has done some good things, but you've got to admit he has his hangups/limitations as a coach. I understand you defending him and supporting him, but there are always others out there. Butler, Xavier and Marquette have replac3ed their coaches with good selections. We won't always pick the ANthony Solomons of the world if Schmidt left.

Reigning A10 Coach of the Year I understand that he was, Gottfried made several NCAA appearances and he was fired, some people want big results, not less than 25 percent win percentage against top 100 teams, we're not even talking about top 50.....trust me if he was so elite another team would have wanted him by now. Usually guys that do a great job at the mid major level move on up if they are a hot commodity
