Do you think we have any chance to sign him? We have a bunch of guards already.

Quick overview of 2021 Target Ethan Okwuosa at Cheshire Academy. This intriguing left-handed point guard is 6'3 -180, with a 6'7 wing span.Kid is a pure floor general with great court vision, steady handle, soft shooting touch. He can score from all 3 levels and has the pro to-typical point guard high IQ. He just might be the type of kid who is heir apparent to Kyle Lofton. Very sound fundamentals and is classified a sleeper. Hello Coach! He has had recent conversations with us and Colgate. New link with game film on you tube.

With attention focused on so many related and unrelated topics to basketball, here is a reminder that the "early signing period" starts on Wednesday, November 11th, running through the 18th. We currently have one available scholarship for the coming year, as we have 12 players on 'ships currently. Will be sign one now, or wait. Truthfully I don't understand the rule about "the extra year", what it means, how deployed if deployed, so if anyone can clarify, I would like to hear.

Fuller, from the Bronx, was the #5 player in NYC at Cardinal Hayes before going to Woodstock Acad. He liked staying close to home.

Fordham has had some key quality recruits, unfortunately or the issue is they transfer to a bigger program thus making Fordham a sort of minor league team prepping them for larger higher profile teams.

I can see the Bonnies not signing anyone in the '20-'21 cycle. With the additional year being granted - not really knowing who will take advantage of that and who won't, recruits could see major log jams for playing time for 2-3 seasons. Recruits just don't go some place to sit anymore. Patience is zero.
Now I'm sure there may be a transfer or two spring/summer of 2021 - which may open up a spot to grab a transfer or late signing, but believe recruiting news in this cycle will be very quiet.

I would agree. I’ll actually be shocked if we have an early signing to announce.

Agreed the BONNIES' staff will be and should be super selective with their only ship left, and one possibility just opened up, ELIJAH HUTCHINS-EVERETT, 6-10 235 currently at Putnam Science Academy just backed out of his commitment to Penn State, another O O situation?

Thanks, SIP.
According to his penn state commit article he was also offered by Iona, DePaul, nova and another scheme another school. Verbal commits listed Wayne, NJ is listed as Elijah s hometown. So between Putnam and No, I am hoping we have some connection. I don t know if it has any reverence, but in the why he chose penn state , Elijah said because of the home like atmosphere. Too bad there are no campus visits, I think that s what really comes across at Bona s. So maybe Coach Curran can connect with Coach Espinosa at Putnam. Kyle, Osun and Justin all have the Putnam and NJ roots. I recall seeing that there was a coach from western New York that within the last six months took an assistant job at Putnam and I remember thinking to myself at the time, that would be another Putnam connection. So many some lick with Elijah taking a second look, sometimes it s all about the right place at the right time. Elijah looks like a really good player. For those who know NJ Catholic league basketball, Elijah played hs basketball at Immaculate Coception.

looks way to soft at the level he's already playing at. Highlight's showed no outside game and no aggressive game around the rim.

Elijah played his freshman year a DePaul Catholic in Wayne, NJ. He's from Essex County, I think Irvington (next to Newark); saw him play 10 times that year. He was poached to IC by his club team coach who also coaches at IC. They also stole a guard from DePaul that year. The kid signed with Hofstra. DePaul was loaded for the next 3 years until the coach literally snagged both kids. Elijah would be a fine get for the Bonnies.

Sorry, I couldn't find the transfer thread. I was looking at the 2021 D1 transfers on verbal commits and its already got players out there. Some are eligible right away. Not suprisingly there is wholesale movement from the Ivy League.
