We really need to be recruiting rising juniors through the portal... they can learn the system in their first year and get to see what Bona's is all about, and then they can flourish in their final campaigns while having a true love of Bonaventure basketball... just my $0.02.

They have money to pay guys through the unfurl fundraising. Bona doesn't pay incoming freshman they let them know if they stay and develop they will get paid. The guys they recruit are not turning down a lot of money. They are probably not turning down any money. So with miles rose, Thompson, Kaba they probably have all the money they would have been paying Venning, Evans, assa, as well as the money they spent on Mika and pride. They got money to bring in a few players the way they run their system. |
