mmbonnie....Like your thinking of a potential package deal. TYSON BROWN is #23 JUCO. ONlY 5 JUCO centers are ranked higher. He would bolster our struggles in rebounding and TRACEY help our scoring.
23 mpg, 58% FGs, 12 ppg, 9.3 rebs. He had signed a LOI with Robert Morris 2020-21 but decided to go JUCO.

Glad that Devin, along with his mom and dad, saw an impressive win yesterday.

An impressive win because Banks went off like he does every few games — thus covering up a dozen or so bonehead plays we exhibit every game.
What Devin probably saw was an opportunity to help his dad’s former program immediately get back to respectability through leadership, talent and passion like his dad displayed!

He has also visited FAU, which is currently 26-3, nationally ranked and has a beautiful campus in Boca Raton. Let's hope he does not care much about weather.

Heard at the game yesterday DEVIN is also getting interest from Villanova and another BE school along with other A10 schools.

Devin has mentioned NOVA in the past. Their "interest" must feel good. However Bona would be a far better match for his game.

Pretty excited by a number of the players noted in the ‘23 recruiting thread.
Wet, somebody had given a thumbnail sketch of devin Vanderpool s game, but I can t recall what was sai, is he a point guard? Or more of a combo?
I really like really like Elijah as well. Ellijah, Bevin and miles woulbe a great core and really add to our existing group. There will likely be some attrition. Don t like to lose guys, but it s the world we live.
I really like jadarius Tracy and his ability to score the ball. While sec won t end up with both, I xdtakebelijah or Tyson Brown in a heartbeat. Either one of those guys along with chad and what I believe will be a much improved Melian Martinez, will give us more rebounding/defense and interior game on offense. In particular Elijah looks like he has some great game in the low post.
Fingers crossed. The staff has flung some great fits and hopefully we can get some of these guys to campus.
A plus IMO,is that coach has demonstrated a willingness to give guys minutes, which is important for players to see.
As always I believe the staff has Aan eye on guys we know nothing about.

Devin Vanterpool is just what we need. Bigger guards have killed us, he can defend them and he is a scorer. That is much needed of course

We’re not graduating anyone this year so we only have open spots if somebody leaves,, correct?

We’re not graduating anyone this year so we only have open spots if somebody leaves,, correct? JNT left so we currently have 11 scholarship players Miles Rose is 12 so one to give assuming no one else leaves. That is a very large assumption given the environment of college hoops today.

Well, we have averaged probably more than 6 defections a season in recent history. Could be different with more guys getting PT this season — but the portal, NIL and one-time waiver makes it too easy for these players.
