Thanks for the info Chuck. I don’t really feel disappointment with other-than-gaudy stats for players coming from top notch programs like PSA. Clearly by going there they “ check their egos at the door” to be a team-first player on a national power and I am fine with that. Let the P6 guys get the ones that put themselves first. We can watch Evans, Rose and hopefully others develop to top tier A10 players and find a place in Bona history. Give me as many of them as we can get. This week might be huge. GO BONNIES, or GROW BONNIES!

I think the staff is projecting big upside for him, but I think it takes a little longer to get there.

I remember seeing at one point that PSA plays guys who have signed less than those who have not signed NLIs yet. It came up, if I recall correctly, with Justin Winston's departure from Putnam for his prep year. He had signed with us, so they were going to sit him in favor of others. This appears to be less of an issue now at PSA as many of the guys on the roster had signed in the early period when Rose did.

Understandable to have concern on lack of offers to Miles.
However Bona has done very well with players who's skills were not recognized by coaches. English/Holmes and Adams are just 2 who received zero interest. Predicting Div I success is far from a precise science. Bona has done well with Coach Schmidt's assessment of under the radar players.

I remember the excitement of Schmidt getting big time recruits. Jalen Poyser shares MVP honors of Bio Steel All Star game with Jamal Murray. Jalen bombs with Bonnies, Murray is currently averaging 20 ppg for Denver Nuggets. Or how about Justin Winston, who receives 7 P-6 offers. Or how about 6’10” Brett Roseboro leaving Marquette for Bona.
Even Osun received P6 offers. He was a great player for the Bonnies, but in 4 years Osun failed to develop offensively. Difficult to imagine, of the starters Osun had the lowest scoring average for all 4 years. Compare it to Andrew, who didn’t receive a high major offer.
Schmidt’s success is with low rated recruits. Kyle Lofton, Jaren Holmes, Jaylen Adams were low rated recruits, who became starters in their 1st year with Bonnies. With Schmidt it is a mistake to make expectations based on a recruit's number of stars.
Really like how Miles is surrounded by teammates who have multiple P6 offers. Starts season as a low scoring reserve and develops into a starter. A starter on such a talented Putnam team is impressive. Then Miles take it another step and becomes Putnam’s 3rd leading scorer in National Prep Tournament.
Miles obviously has the determination that Winston, Poyser and Roseboro lacked.

I know that times have changed, but I wondering if anyone of the board is in or around campus today. I noted that Grgur Brcic, 6'10" PF prepping in New England (MA) is supposed to be on campus today for a visit. It's not clear whether working out with members of the team is something recruits do or don't do anymore. Anquan Hill's entry into the portal was just noted on the Transfers thread. Sp we've got 8 players, Kyrell Luc, Moses Flowers, Daryl Banks III and Miles Rose (4) guards and then Yann Farrell and Barry Evans.jr, (2) forwards and then Chad Venning and Melian Martinez (2) centers/pf that gives us eight shcolarship players, and 5 scholarships available.
Sorry I got side tracked anybody able to take a look in this afternoon and see if there is any activity that would be great.

While we are in a holding pattern, I came across this Tweet from somebody who follows SLU, they to have some ships still open, 4 at this time. The tweeter noted that they had a recruit, 6'10" on campus this past weekend and hoping that they might "wrap him"/get him signed. The recruits' name was Kasean Pryor and I had thought that was the NW FL guy, who went up against KJ Debrick and John A Logan in the JUCO national title game. Not sure but I believe Chuck said he watched that game and that Kasean was a willowy kid, but good shot blocker. So, for what it's worth we're not the only ones waiting in anticipation.

Miles’ brother was a star at Temple too so he intimately knows what it takes to be a successful D1 player. I find that very encouraging

GRGUR BRCIC 6'10"/225, 7' wing span. Not just an inside game. Shows an outside touch and clearly a shot he is working on. Averaged a double double for Williston Northhampton

Not sure a slightly better version of Max, who is averaging 2.8 career ppg having played in almost 70 games in 3 years in our conference is what we should be looking for. Tim Dalger however, is very very interesting, as is Nendah Tarke.

Brown (GW Transfer) appears to have a real good head on his shoulders.
I watched a couple interviews and he mentions the importance of education to him and getting his master's degree. I think he will like our school of business but even if he is not a future Bonnie I wish him well in whatever he chooses.

Does anyone know if Brcic has visited? His highlights show some real quickness and athleticism and I would be very optimistic about what the staff could do with him in our offense along with some time in the weight room.
