NOEL BROWN 6'11"/260 Almost no body fat.
22-23 stats 11.3 MPG, 3.3 ppg, 2.2 rebs, 58%. Started 5 games at GW as a junior.
His video shows good use of glass and ability to score with his left hand.

Of all the players we've been linked to lately, Brown is probably the most "meh" of the bunch. But he's proven to be an 11 mpg true center in the A-10, which fills a need.

With Noel Brown in the fold, I would love to see Tim Dagler, the 6’7” 222, wing from Tulsa, to me he s the Swiss Army knife we don t have, can slash to the rim, hit the 3, defend and rebound. Really hoping he will be part of our push to get back to the top tier of the A10. I d also love to see Grgur Brcic, the talented big from Croatia via New England prep, Brown, Venning, Dagler and Btcic we ve got the 4 and 5 covered from the physicality standpoint. Sure we can still play a smaller line up, but we clearly needed more of that physicality, all of the above plus Needah Tarke will put us on a different plane.

Too bad, after Coach Schmidt made a home visit to Elijah's family well over a month ago, I thought that was a pretty good sign. BC already had several PF candidates and was recruiting another. Perhaps the lure of the ACC and NIL money was too strong an elixir. I really like Elijah's game. So I guess I'm down to Buru Naivalurua, KJ Debrick and most recent visitor, Grgur Brcic, all really talents players. The more I mull Tim Dagler in my mind the more I think he is a fit, hoping he feels the same way, he IMO could easily be a double digit scorer for us giving us much needed consistently on offense, and making the assumption that Yann Farrell's game continues to grow, that makes Daryl an option, but not the option, fingers crossed.

Is there any more “official” announcement on Brown, or something from him out there? It’s not that I don’t trust VCU, but I am more comfortable with other sources confirming signings.
Also, in accessing front court players going forward, we should not overlook Barry Evans. With his hustle and athleticism, just a little bit more development in his offensive game would really go a long way in making him an impact player up front. Not everyone is ready in his first year, but I still think he could be what we’re looking for at the 4.

It was an announcement of his verbal commitment from Brown's instagram page. The official announcement from the university will come only when the paperwork has been signed, usually a couple days or a week |

AGREE ON BARRY....He is one of my favorites on the roster....the "HUSTLE" is not something you can coach...His steal at VCU on inbounds play was SO SO BIG in that game...He read the play and went from sideline to sideline to pick the pocket of Ace with perfect timing....Is Barry a TRUE 4?? Not sure? he could be a 3 as he has a decent handle...or a 4 either way "IN BARRY I TRUST"...The kid has heart.
