if it was that petty then he probably really didn't want to go. Who cares. He didn't take it and can't knock him for looking into the position. I mean those petty things means that he would leave possibly if they added the petty things. So what? LOL>. So pretty much if you offer this... this .... & This then he would think about it. What's wrong with that? My gosh. Just calling out the notion that he has been “ loyal”. I have no issue airing the facts, other than jeopardizing put a lifelong relationship. As a well respected member of the bandwagon I ask for some grace, while I recognize the passive aggressive nature, and such criticism would be warranted. In the coaching realm you can’t be successful without burning bridges and shady dealings….Schmidt is not immune despite what many think. He’s been a god send for the program and the school…no debate. Just ask Ted DiBiase….everyone has a price. Mark’s price wasn’t substantial but his comments behind closed doors in the UMASS negotiating process were damning…meanwhile faithful were unwittingly praising the NIT run. "As a well respected member of the bandwagon"... Talk about hubris! If you puff out your chest one millimeter further, your lungs will explode.

Gerry McNamara finalizing deal at Siena. Will have the resources to make immediate improvements. Will be a good OOC game to hold on to moving forward.

Pat Kelsey likely to be named Louisville HC....
If you're Mark Schmidt...do you inquire about the Charleston gig...good tradition, great facilities, rumors of moving up conference, tons of resources....Charleston not a bad place to be for your final 10 years of coaching.....??
Add that to the "asleep at the wheel" Bona administration.....
Gotta think it's crossed his and his agents mind......

Isn’t Kelsey the one who accepted the UMass job then backed out on them? I’ll believe he’s the Louisville coach when he’s introduced lol

Indiana State’s Josh Schertz likely to land at St. Louis. Great hire for them. Hope he doesn’t turn out to be a prick like Travisty.

Joyce won’t be at Duquesne for long. Lebrons friend he will use that NIL money and probably get them back to the tournament soon, at which point he will end up somewhere big like Ohio State and continue to tap into Lebrons donations

Hey didn’t some guy who was clearly the Gannon coach’s family member tell us we should fire Schmidt and hire their guy?
Gannon’s coach quit on Gannon today. 1 year and he resigns

Coach Cal leaving Kentucky for Arkansas. That one is a shocker.
I suspect Nate Oats will now leave Alabama for Kentucky and the carousel of sleazy coaches rolls on
