Well Ed Cooley is off to Georgetown leaving Providence and his hometown after a 12-year run. Looks like Providence will be interviewing George Mason's Kim English as a potential replacement.
Once Notre Dame decides who they want to target, that could either cause chaos across the coaching landscape, or a small blip if they go after a guy like Matt Langel of Colgate or Mitch Henderson of Princeton.
Other programs of note with vacancies:
Temple Texas Tech St. John's Wichita State Buffalo

Would be fun if Notre Dame elevated long time assistant Anthony Solomon to the role. It is possible we face them next year in the Legends Classic in Brooklyn

Duquesne's season just ended, they accepted a bid to the CBI (haha) and lost 1st round, but there were rumors legendary coach Keith Dambrot was gonna call it quits.
I guess he has 1 more year on his contract so maybe he will come back but it is something to keep an eye on

St. Rick loves the NYC area and said there were 30 states he would never live. He loves living in Mamaroneck. Knew he longed for the Garden and Big East. He is the consummate New Yorker and his landing at SJU was destined for the City, conference and school.

I guess 70 is the new 50?!? Pitino signed a 6-year deal.

There are strippers everywhere. For sure, however, the world has moved RP's way. NLI allows pay and mores have softened/changed. Maybe, RP was a man ahead of his time?

Rumors in PA are that ND is talking with PSU’s Shrewsberry to fill that spot, although deep pockets PSU is trying to keep him. Cooley leaves Providence for Georgetown. Maybe John Thompson can be an ND assistant also?

Tobin Robinson from FDU is taking his talents across the Hudson to New Rochelle to become Pitino's successor at Iona.

Robinson got immediate benefit from his remarkable turn around at FDU.

Maybe John Thompson can be an ND assistant also? I would be shocked if Shrewsberry left the Nits for ND. He has made PSU hoops relevant.
