this tournament is a wild one and catching people's attention
Besides Duq-Dayton tonight, all the other games have a line of -2.5 or closer. When do you see a conference tournament with 1 seed vs. a 9 seed projected to be that close? or a 2/7 for that matter.
I think A10 and MW conference tourneys are shaping up to be the most entertaining of all of them. Good basketball being played with much more at stake than in the big10, (dying) Pac12, SEC, etc. where everyone makes the tournament next week anyway, win or lose

How about those Hawks of St. Joe's knocking off #1 Richmond 66-61! Soon time for the Bonnies to knock off Loyola.

St. Joe’s just beat Richmond, let the day of upsets begin! It is possible that each of the double bye teams lose today. Is that good or bad for the A10.

I said long ago that the tourney would be wide open. Richmond seemed to do it all year with smoke and mirrors, ditto for Loyola. Dayton seemed over-hyped, especially on the road. VCU, as we've seen, fell (on the rebound now?). We have 50/50 shot to win today and if we do, a good shot to win it all...

Did Richmond just blow the league’s two bid status? They seemed to be the consensus choice of having the best chance for an at large if Dayton wins the tournament. Now let’s take out Loyola as well. It would be a dark day for the league, but so be it.

It would be a dark day for 5he league, but so be it. A10 will be 2-bid IF anyone other than UD wins the tourney. There was a very small chance of Richmond being an at large had they won their last regular season game and made it to the A10 finals. 2-bid league is still very much in play...go Dukes.

I always felt that Bonas would take Richmond if we ever had the opportunity to play them this year in the tournament. We had played so well against VCU at their home court a few days earlier and I felt that we did not play well against U Richmond the next game, that we had more talent than Richmond. Will be glued to the screen at 5 PM. Tough to beat a team twice in a row, altho we did it vs. VCU and UMass. I can't remember what year it was during my time at Bonas, but we had beaten Niagara handily twice during the season. We played them a third time in what was then an ECAC tournament game that got you into the NCAA, (held in Manley Fieldhouse at the 'Cuse) and Niagara knocked us out. Anyone else remember that disappointment?
Go Bonas!!
Hoping Charles Pride has a great game against this LoC coach. we need somebody to go off, and we have a half dozen men that could do it.

It is possible that each of the double bye teams lose today. Is that good or bad for the A10. I will quote myself.....after St Joe's knocked out Richmond, I had a feeling that the double bye teams could all lose. VCU is better than UMass, I wanted to believe we would beat LUC, a I know that the Dukes are on a roll....and it came to fruition. St Joe's is hot and there 3 point shooting could kill VCU, but I think VCU will win. They had their slump, now they are rolling. Duquesne is very tough, but defending us has become less predictable, hopefully the days of feeding it into the post and double teaming Chad is over. Our guys look better when the court is open. Mark will start Chad, but Noel and Barry will again allow us to play a different game and we will win.

If Chad isn’t able to completely dominate his match up down low he ends up just clogging the lane up and preventing our guards from driving to the basket. This just kills all our other offensive options and make guarding us way too predictable. Were won these last two games on pure hustle getting boards to score on put backs. We’re going to need to see some better offense to win the next two.

I wonder how electric it may be at Barclays tomorrow. With Dayton losing, all four remaining fan bases are saying, this is our year and I am not going to miss our chance to win the championship.

TRAVIS FORD out at ST. LOUIS. so when does MICHIGAN and VANDERBILT pull the trigger on their coaches ? Jerry Stackhouse got the gate Thurs at Vandy. The volatile Juwan Howard was sacked Friday by our ol' UB buddy Warde Manuel.

UD and the A10 champion (Bonas might be, could be) will earn Dance cards. Spidey likely NIT.
