Okay, You are correct. I personally think Rumpel should have skipped the transfer portal and went STRAIGHT to the league. Man if he stayed I bet we would be undefeated. His numbers are dominating in his new conference. Yeah, the bona coach whines like a baby and hasn't proven to be a great coach in the Atlantic 10. Just noticed in today's TH that Banks' #s are: 8.3 ppg; 23.7% FG and 11.3% 3-PT.
If those numbers don't improve I'LL be jumping on the Rumpel bandwagon.

What is with the A-10 MBB website? On its game day notes page it’s still pre-season, even with most teams several weeks into the OOC. If you want to be considered big time, act that way. Hoops is the league’s primary sport and should receive the proper attention from the league office. Get it together folks.

There 3-2 zone was effective. If they play that against SBU Venning and Brown will be key down low and Assa and Evans at mid-post. Other than fast breaks, Nova did not get the ball inside very often.

I watched much of Duquesne’s close win at home over UC-Irvine. Tre Williams, a very solid contributor for Dambrot the last several years in which he played out of position as an undersized Center ( 6’7”, 250) didn’t see any meaningful minutes. He really played hard for the Dukes the last several years and now seemingly has been caste aside in his senior year. That’s gotta be tough on a kid who battled hard for the team for several years and to my knowledge never complained or played anything but hard, holding up well against more typical centers like Shoon, Chad, Hassan French and others in the league. The Dukes frontline had been completely remade this season and while not spectacular, will give us some problems. It includes the Drame twins who transferred in from LaSalle, another 6’8” transfer kid who can hit from 3 and passes well and a 6’9” more typical 5.

St. Joe's is impressive and Villanova game may not have been a one-off. They are 5-2 and their 2 losses are against #17 Kentucky in overtime and by only 3 against a good Texas A&M team. They will be tough. Last night also saw Dayton beat Rob Lanier's SMU and Davidson over Charlotte. Too bad LaSalle lost to temple in triple overtime. Had many opportunities for the win. It was second string teams down the stretch as each team had 5 players foul out.
