UMASS leaving A10 for football reasons and joining the MAC. I think I got this news release right. It is unreal that they are bringing all other sports as well. I don't think the MAC gave them a choice. |

Harkening back to Saturday at the Mullins Center...during a time-out in the 2nd half this popped up on the video scoreboard and we were in stitches watching it...it's from Freddie Mercury's banter with the crowd at Live Aid but features a rodent doing the vocals. The fans at Mullins shouted back. I sent it to Steve Campbell as I thought it would be a great addition to the Reilly Center rotation. Enjoy Queen & The Pika |

Just checked UMass 2024 football schedule. They are going to host Missouri at 17,000 capacity McGurik Stadium. They later play at Mississippi State and at Georgia. They will never play at this level in the MAC. After this brutal schedule, UMass may have to rebuild to just field a team. The Mississippi State and Georgia games must be buy games.
