Congrats to the Dukes. It was there for us but they executed well down the stretch.

GRANT 27 pts on a career game 10-15 FGs, 6-9 TREYS too much for our inconsistent offense. His day with a ridiculous banked TREY to beat the shot clock. Some days you have it and he owned the day & the game.
Their 12 more points on TREYS dictated the outcome. The DUKES 34% TREY shooting team out shined our 38% TREY team 48% to a dismal 25% in Bklyn.

Gotta hand it to Dambrot and the Dukes. 3-0 sweep of the Bonnies this season. 23 wins and one victory shy of a Dance card.

I go back to start of 2nd half. Dukes run their set play, it leads to easy dunk or lay-in, then Bonas run their set "play"--a quick, covered trey by Assa with 16 seconds on clock, no good. Dukes then score a couple more well-prepared buckets and never look back.

If your brother couldn't crack this lineup, then he must suck ... Yeah I kind of want to play this game. If he’s even telling the truth, his brother could only be: Rose Martinez Thompson Luc Nobody else on scholarship has a real PT grind to axe. Evans included. Of those 4, the only guy I’d be disappointed in losing is Thompson. But I can’t imagine he came here a year early, on this team, thinking he could play. In general, this team needs a major re-boot. Only guys I really want back are Brown and Evans. I was terrified to lose Assa last summer, thinking he was a future all conference player, but he’s a bit limited Would like him back, but he’s a complimentary part.

They beat us rightfully and deserve all credit. I am actually rooting for them tomorrow. But wasn’t that shot clock reset a total BS call and it was huge for them

A disappointment and you’ll have to start over next season hoping you’ll get the right transfers since half your young players will leave cause of the joke that this program is in the modern era. You know we won 20 games this year, right?

Frustrating to be sure, heart breaking without a doubt. Deep down I was hoping for another miracle like the Loyola victory. But shocked by the outcome and performance, not at all. I could whine about this player or that sequence, but in the end the better team won without a shadow of doubt. I hate conceding that fact. I was proud how the Bonnies put together two great victories, as Bob Hope would sing 'thanks for the memories.' Now the dreaded NIL portal, as my old coach used to say to us, DWI, Deal With It. Wish the departing players luck and happiness wherever they end up. Wondering how bad coach Schmidt wants to stay with the NIL firmly in place. I love what he has done, and hope he stays but I would not be shocked if he heads to Florida at his age. Appreicated everyone's comments good and bad, always a good read for me to be entertained by. Pax et Bonum
