Thank God for the portal so my bro can be somewhere else!!! If your brother couldn't crack this lineup, then he must suck ... Yeah I kind of want to play this game. If he’s even telling the truth, his brother could only be: Rose Martinez Thompson Luc I say it is Luc, Martinez seems happy and the other two are Frosh.

As much as DAMBROT annoys me, I will be rooting for him and the Dukes tomorrow.

In spite of the shenanigans they pull with the refs whenever we play there, I hope the Dukes finally make the grade. Seems like they are our brothers now.

The Bonnies lost this game at the end of the first half. We had 4 or 5 consecutive empty possessions where we struggled to even get a shot up.
I’m not sure why I was hoping for Duquesne to beat Dayton. They have our number this year. We have no answer for Grant or Clark. Dambrot completely owned Schmidt. Usually it’s the other way around.

We almost almost! made it through a Duquesne game without the announcers telling us Dambrot was Lebrons high school coach for the very first time
7 seconds left, just shooting foul shots to put it on ice and the guy couldn’t help himself with “you know Lebron will be rooting for Duq tomorrow….(cue the factoid about Dambrot we’ve heard 100 times)

Dayton woulda got us too. It was clear both our big men were hurting in this tournament. I think Holmes woulda had big day. We had a better shot against Duquesne, but Grant got it done for them. My hats off to him. FWIW I think VCU could still be beaten even with our ailing big guys that’s why it hurts

OT: congrats to Longwood and the Zags for making the Dance. Two excellent teams who played us tough as nails. Turns out we had a pretty tough OOC after all.

I love Assa and Barry. I think they should flip flop positions next season. Assa at the 3 and Barry at the 4. They compliment eachother perfectly. Assa the silky smooth shooter, Barry the high energy athlete. If they stick around for the long haul, they will both be all A-10 players one day.

buffalonews.com/sports/st-bonaventure-duquesne-basketball-atlantic-10-mens-college-basketball/article_b5313946-e3ca-11ee-a794-537848680dc2.html Article points out the 12 pt trey differential, due to our 25% TREYs to their 47.5% TREYS, caused the loss. “We had open shots. We missed them,” Schmidt said. “They had open shots; they made them. That was the ballgame.” Clearly the points from deep determined the outcome. Disappointing that our superior TREY shooters (38%) failed badly while DUKES performed well above their 34% TREY season average. It reflected our inconsistent shooting over the course of the season. Something we came accustomed to seeing. I think the article minimized our comeback writing, "Once down 14, the Bonnies were on the cusp of striking distance." When you are down 4 with over 5 mins to play & you have the ball its anyone's game and Bona clearly had the momentum at that point with our fans roaring. "Cusp of striking difference" Understatement of our situation down 4 with the ball and opportunity to get to within 1. That possession, to get to within 1, ended in a critical bad pass TO by CHAD, playing with a bad knee. After that non pressured TO our D caused a circus banked TREY to just beat the shot clock. GRANT's unbelievable well defended shot flipped the momentum to DUKES which they held for the win. Now the 4th season has started - RECRUITING !! Lets get it done.

Hoping that some of our posters who thought that we were so terrible yesterday are watching today’s game. Duquesne is a very good team & have won 7 straight games.
