Two stories of the 1st half.
Bonnies looked awesome driving to the hoop!!
Bonnies were simply dreadful rebounding the basketball on the defensive end. Allowed over 16 points on 8 offensive rebounds.

Great start but ugly finish to the half. Seems like every game we build a 15 to 20 pt lead only to fall asleep. We need to stop letting these mediocre teams back in games.
Where is the killer instinct? I know it drives Schmidt crazy that we fall into sloppy stretches each game where we get out worked mentally and physically. Coach he has to figure this out. Is it the rotations? The attitude?
We are not the same team when Noel is in foul trouble. Folarin looks overmatched. He’s not yet an A10 caliber player. We got killed on the glass 17-11. Bryant had 9 offensive boards leading to 16 second-chance points.

MOORE defensively is doing a great job on TIMBERLAKE but we need more offensively from him.

Winning without much O from Chance, good sign. Schmidt has settled on his top 6, plus a few minutes for Thompson.

Timberlake getting paid by the hour or something? Why do they let him take 10 minutes to stand up!

73' my frosh year at Bona's we started out 6-0, and I am enjoying this 6-0 start just as much. If you love the Bonnies that feeling just never seems to go away. This team is exciting for too many reasons to play around with. Suffice it to say, great win. Onwards and upwards go the Bonnies.

That was a solid Bona effort for 6-0. Noah 22 9/11, Melvin 18 (8/14), Lajae 13, Chance 12, Jonah 9 off the bench. 56% fg, 57% 3, 81% ft.
Great way to head to Disney w some mo. Take their chances with a bonafide power in Utah State and play w house $.

This team has not hit its stride yet nor played a complete game — that’s a good thing! Great to see Council and Noel dominate the first half. LaJae hit some big shots and had his best game with 13 and 5 along with a couple blocks. Bowen is just super steady, under control and so smart.

I just told my wife, I am really just going to try to enjoy this season. Every game is going to be different. Every game is going to have some positives and a few warts. Both will vary from game to game.
Great win and for the faithful: Enjoy the ride, it is going to be a wild one.
