How was the recruiting after the 1970 Final 4 season? Glenn Price was a product of that? Others? Not very good. The coaching staff became comfortable with the current team and forgot about the future.

The coaching staff became comfortable with the current team and forgot about the future. whether that coaching staff became comfortable or not, i think there's a lesson there that applies to the present day/age: don't take anything for granted...if we've got a great team, don't take it for granted that the recruits will come to us...work hard to recruit the best athletes to build off the success of the great season...and the same applies for recruiting students...if we had a run of strong enrollment years (which we haven't, but if we had), don't take it for granted that the students will come to us...work hard to recruit good students to build off past successes...
