The drunk announcer interviewed Chuck Pollock from the "Olean Herald Times." Chuck looked at him like the dude was compromised. Hysterical stuff! That announcer stated that Chuck works for the Olean Herald Times

This team has shown more mental toughness and focus than I have seen from a Bonnie team in a really long time. They continue to fight, comeback when they are down, make clutch free throws, and get big boards when it matters (Idris)! It is a different person every game that steps up. We keep finding ways to win. Hopefully we can continue that on the road at the Dukes. I remember my senior year 2000 the JR Bremer buzzer beater against eventual #2 seed Temple put us to 4-0. My friends and I drove down to our next game at pitiful Fordham and we laid an egg. Duquesne screams trap game but if we remain focused we will be alright.

Throw in Pittsburgh refs, and the Dukes will be a scary game.

Here is my technical explanation of the game. Our game was like an upside down "bell curve", high at both ends and low during the middle.

Speaking of the drunk broadcaster, an amusing set of bloopers occurred about 10 minutes before the broadcast went live. I had the stream up early and, while the screen was blank, the two play-by-play guys were talking to each other without knowing the mike was on and they could be heard. Hilarious banter about "Wow, she's hot" and "she really seems to know it too." As the conversation went on they were evidently talking about one of the female uniformed security personnel and hoping she would be pulling them over on the way home. Priceless! About the Bonnies, I guess we all know now that this team is as serious as a heart attack. We are in for one wonderful, memorable run here.

The announcer thought it was Saturday
We got to the stripe 31 times & made 26. URI got there 15 times & made 10.
16 point differential from the line.
We are unbeaten when we get to the stripe more than our opponent no matter what the other stats. Densel & Marcos scored 5 more points from the stripe than the entire Ram team.
Hurley should coach his team & not run REF workshops during his time outs.
They took 59 FGAs to our 43.
When was last time the Bona men & Women stood UNDEFEATED in conference on top of the A10 at this stage in the season? Women beat Davidson on the road 59-47.

Yeah, can't discount Pgh refs...Bona has a LONG history of screwovers down there, back to tines when Red Manning bought them lock, stock and barrel. Winnable game if Dem Bonnies keep their guards from going off. Let it roll, Bona!

That game was a clinic on how to win at home. Stay close, hit clutch shots, make your free throws, and clamp down on D down the backstretch to the wire - Grit and Poise for 40, even when things seem to be slipping away. I thought URI was playing a good game until the very end and we still prevailed. I'll be at Palumbo Saturday so we' d better keep it going vs. the Dukes, who have apparently learned to play D, holding SLU to 13 in the first half! Impressive, but I expect us to have three, maybe 4 guys with 13 each in the first half on Saturday. Greedy? D*** right I am and justifiably so.

Funny thing is, on the Rhody Forum, posters are saying, due the difference in fouls, "the game wasn't on the level" lol.. Fitting Belichick was the posters pic.. (I'm not trolling, my old man is a Rhody Alumni, double win tonight for me!)
