Ah yes, yet another member of the St Margaret Pittsburg club, oblivious to the very questionable record of the Fort Duquesne wrecking crew - late night beer raids, steadily DECLINING enrollments, Bonahil, Bona World, Campus Mosque, Branch Campus in GKW, politically correct censorship, etc., etc., etc. Oh did I mention huge enrollment declines?

I don't know if anyone saw this in Monday's OTH: June 18 (1919) — The 59th annual St. Bonaventure College commencement exercises were held at Butler Memorial Gymnasium this morning. Fifteen bachelor of arts degrees were conferred, while four master’s degrees were conferred. Several purses were awarded, including a top prize of $45 in gold to Anthony Misukiewicz for general proficiency after three years. The valedictorian address was given by Paul Kinney of Towanda. www.oleantimesherald.com/news/state-union-turning-back-the-clock-on-olean/article_f6835f4c-7050-553c-96e6-b3173e012715.htmlThank god Sister Margaret wasn't president then, there might have been fewer than 10! And the top prize would have been no more than $25 in unsupported, Civil War "Greenbacks". But, I digress. Yes, we need more witch threads.

I’d like to introduce a motion to have this thread moved back to the sports page and stickied at the top in lieu of the silly “adams” thread. MORE WITCH THREADS PLEASE THANK YOU Yeah man. I think we are kindred spirits. More witch threads, but on the basketball forum with the horse racing info. Those topics are cousins.

Rabbi Marc Gellman recently wrote an article in his column the "God Squad" on Wicca and Wiccans. It is very clear from the article that Wicca is not compatible in any way with our Judeo-Christian faiths, or with Bonas Catholic and Franciscan foundations. Here is a couple of quotes from that article "There are elements of Wiccan religion that just do not harmonize easily with the teachings of Christian faith. Wicca was formed in 1954 by Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant. It has no fixed sacred scriptures. Some Wiccans worship witchcraft and Satanic rituals, some worship a pantheism of a Moon Goddess and a Great Horned God." "The actual content of Wicca is quite obscure and complicated by many secret practices. However, it is definitely a pagan faith that does not worship a single biblical God who created all life and a moral code."
And this is the element that the Fort Duquesne wrecking crew and the now secular sainted Sr. Margaret Pittsburg allowed to be introduced into the SBU School of Journalism? Just pathetic administrative misconduct of the highest order.

Just pathetic administrative misconduct of the highest order. We get it. Believe me....we really do. Also that you are fixated on Sister Duq A'isne. You come across as a disgruntled former SBU staff/faculty member who was mightly screwed by Sister Duq A'isne and her buddies. Give it a rest. You're beginning to sound like a whacko. Really.

Pauline Huffman was just spotted flying to Pittsburgh! Rumor is she's meeting with the Fort Duquesne wrecking crew to discuss spells to cast on the current administration.

Can someone please elaborate on the "late night beer raids"? I need more info to establish my position. I don't know about late night beer raids but I can confirm Sister Marg was incredibly intolerant on drinking. My personal story, we got written up on our FIRST weekend back after summer break sophomore year. Weren't being loud or anything, everyone was just excited to be back together. Unforgivable!

Clear indications from this article in the Olean Times Herald addition of 7/13/19 by OTH Reporter Tom Dinki, that Sister Margaret Pittsburg was aware that Hoffman was a Wiccan and hired her anyway. Therefore casting aspersions on our great Catholic Franciscan university. What would St Francis and St Bonaventure say to that type of wrongheaded policy decision......since both were great advocates of Catholic doctrine and defenders of the faith? We lost our way under the past leadership....big time. Here are some quotes from the OTH article ...."The lawsuit alleges that the following semester, as Hoffman was to become permanent dean, then provost Dr. Michael Fisher required her to sign a statement vowing to uphold Catholic values", (but not Catholic doctrine ........my additional commentary FD). "Fisher is also accused of telling Hoffman, 'you might not want to be so overt about being a witch if you want to move up'. The lawsuit additionally alleges Sister Margaret Carney, St. Bonaventure President emeritus who retired in 2016 told Hoffman 'I took a big chance hiring you as a Wiccan' ".

But how about all the shit Francis was into? Like the talking wolf...... tamingthewolf.com/saint-francis-and-the-wolf/I mean this critter was like Rin Tin Tin on methamphetamine and it became Francis' personal K9. So nobody would fuck with Francis after that. And then there was his girlfriend Clare who he was boffing. Francis, the talking wolf and Clare. Must have been quite the threesome. Wiccan chick = nowhere close to that bunch.
