On 1 hand you have Alston, X. Smith, Woods, Runs, Toupane, Adams, Ayeni, Poyser, Moreaux, Tyson, Johnson, Planutis, Gathers. And the other hand is Coburn and Brock. I'm sure I forgot some, but the transfer track record hasn't burned us. Obviously, I think many agree that Woods and Gathers would've played out differently if they stayed so every situation isn't the same. I liked AJ, his performance versus RU showed his potential. He had a nice stroke, but he struggled to fit outside of that. I think he might have played more had his decision making on 2 pt shots not been so abysmal and/or he handled the ball better. Too times he had WTF drives. Best wishes wherever he ends up. Brockington does not belong in that list in any way. Winston is TBD, but I suspect he will do well at Robert Morris. But Winston was a 4 star recruit.... Highest rated recruit to come to Bona's s

Funny thing is that i thought The Chef/Brockington/Winston/Metcalf were all going to be bigtime contributors. The chef averaged like 4 points per game in a lesser conference. Brockington had some nice games. Metcalf doesn't even have a new team yet. Winston went from a 4 star recruit to robert morris. The guys that do leave the program don't really leave and do anything. Brockington does not belong in that list in any way. Winston is TBD, but I suspect he will do well at Robert Morris. Why??? Brockington didn't leave and tear it up. What did he leave for??? to be closer to home??? He got playing time his freshman year and it's been said his dad always thought he didn't play enough. Can't have that.

My personal favorite is still the California HS basketball blog that some pointed to as evidence that Alpha Okoli would be a great pick-up for us.

Every college b-ball recruit has accolades (and typically comes from a winning program). But our guys are all gonna be great! Yeah, like we had the pick of the lot!

AJ is doing his best right now to help his UAB team make the big dance! He scored the first 11 of their 15 points as they are leading Temple in the first half. I will always have fond memories of AJ playing for the Bonnies hitting some big early threes in our championship game against VCU and the big game he had against Rutgers in his freshman year in Canada to help us pull off the upset. I'm guessing academics were keeping him from continuing at St Bonaventure as he eventually had to go to Junior College and then went to University of Alabama Birmingham. I hope UAB can finish the job today and make it to the big dance but it won't be easy against a very motivated Temple team who is playing off the emotions of being called out for Point shaving.

Nice comeback for him. He was ejected five minutes into game on Thursday for throwing a punch.

American championship game attendance/atmosphere pretty lame. Maybe 1,000? 1,500?
AJ with a career high 29 points with 10 minutes left to play. 20 point lead for UAB

Nice comeback for him. He was ejected five minutes into game on Thursday for throwing a punch. Thank you gregmitch70 for pointing out to me why he wasn't in the game Friday when I was looking for him. Didn't realize he threw a punch which is obviously not a smart play. Maybe that's why he was making up for it today in the game to be a better teammate and Sport. Big win to get them into the big dance and 29 Points on 11 of 16 shooting including five of six from three point range. Very memorable comparison to when he came off the bench and hit a couple of big threes in the final against VCU for us to help us get out to a big lead on the way to our Atlantic 10 playoff tournament championship. Good luck AJ!!
