Give us a xmas gift early. Fire Fleming now. Down 45-15 in the 3rd quarter to Robert Morris.

The lone bright spot was 12 pts on 4/5 3-ball accuracy by Maddie D.
Otherwise...
Look at the box score if you can. Just dreadful. In five games this season, Bona has scored fewer than 50 pts and lost them all. 8 of 12 games held under 60.
Our Ladies have three nonco games left to figure something out. Don't ask Jesse, he doesn't have a freaking clue.

Last night UB played at Bonas, final score UB 58 - 49.
Bonas is now 3 - 12 and appears to be in free fall..............Oh my gosh!
There is some really outstanding talent available in WNY......time to recruit big time!

Oh, Bona is bad enough. Only 17 more games (fingers crossed 🤞) until Fleming gets the heave-ho.
Their first league game is Saturday at UMass, the A10 preseason favorite. I'm thinking 30-pt blowout.

Jesse was dealt a difficult hand. I think he should get another year extension.

Sadly I feel it is time for the Bonnies to cut ties with Fleming at the end of the season. The women’s team does not seem to be improving from season to season, game to game. Watching yesterday’s game not much passion from the bench, poor shot selection, and lost focus. The women seem to keep the game close for three quarters. Once the fourth quarter starts they fall apart.

Last night George Mason beat the Brown and White 49-45, Bonas is now 3-14 overall, and 0-2 in A10 play. This team is in free fall.
None of the high school talent in WNY has been signed by the way.....what is up with that?
Meanwhile at CC Dani is leading the team to a 3-2 record in MAAC play...............just saying.........

Fact of the matter is Bona can’t afford keeping Jesse Fleming and I’m sure rest of the A-10 feels the same way. Attendance avg/game...Home....Away Crowley’s last year......... 911... 1,256 Fleming last year........... 210.... 633 Since Jesse has become coach, attendance has progressively declined for both home and away games. Excluding COVID season (just 21 games) last season is the only time Jesse did not lose 20+ games. It was by far Jesse’s best with a 12-16 record. Even with his most successful season, Bona’s attendance for both home and away games is the worse it has been since Jesse became coach. This sure indicates fans have given up on Jesse. Can attendance get worse? Attendance for first home A-10 game, against George Mason had 81 fans. https://bonaventure_ftp.sidearmsports.com/custompages/w-baskbl/2015-16/files/teamcume.htm https://bonaventure_ftp.sidearmsports.com/custompages/w-baskbl/2021-22/teamcume.htm gobonnies.com/sports/womens-basketball/stats/2022-23/george-mason/boxscore/5907

And those 81 poor souls witnessed 40 minutes of slop, precious time they will never get back.
What has happened to Maddie D? Is she sick, injured, or headed for the portal? She's practically the best shooter that team has, only one to hit better than 35% from 3.

How’s Crowley doing at Providence? Winning around 40%. We had a few good years with Jim and Jesse was part of that success. Women hoops doesn’t have much parity.

I totally understand your points of view on Jesse I just think we need to look at the whole picture. Jesse has dealt with COVID on top of key players leaving after Crowley left. Jesse has had a better start to his tenure than Crowley did. I believe Jesse has about a 10% higher winning percentage than Crowley did in his first 5 years.
