Forget about the betting line especially with this team. Today will come to down to effort and protecting the ball. I didn’t think my bet would have affected the line so immensely. |

In order to go deep in this tournament we’re going to have to drive the basketball with our guards to get some looks inside. Not something we have done a lot recently but something that MAW and Pride are good at. That’s my x-factor. We know Venning can dominate and we can hit the 3 ball of the looks are there but getting to the rim is what’s been missing. As long as everyone plays hard and they don't lull into a Maynard G Krebs work attitude we should win easily. |

Not exactly a good omen when Bona gets up to five shots on one possession -- mostly good looks -- and can't finish. Bona is getting after it on D and boarding really well, but the object is to score. Cash those open looks!

Barry just passed up 3 shots to feed Chad, with two guys on him, and quickly tied up at traveled.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out how we are so determined to feed Venning every single time down the floor. It’s really not that efficient. He doesn’t even shoot that high of a percentage, regardless of the turnovers and the fact we have multiple 3-point shooters.
